I’ve got some friends in Chewelah who have skied it a few times, years ago. They took sleds in, but I have no idea what route. They said the skiing was ok, nothing special.

Oh, I know; that’s what I meant by “having to lie.” They’re just doing what they’re told.

They seem to get a new marketing director every year. I think they get tired of having to lie so often.

Btw, ever hike up there in the summer? Good way to scout lines for rocks, etc. Silver Ridge is pretty much rock free.

Everything here is flat; Red Mountain is just over the border in BC, and is your best bet for steeps. Otherwise, get used to great tree skiing and high-speed cruisers.
