The heel bases of the original Raider and the more recent Raider Evo are different as the Evo base needs to accommodate the needs of the auto lock-up brake on the Evo.

Shift heels have 30mm of overall length adjustment. When the jig is set to your bsl then after mounting you'll have 18mm of forward movement and 12mm rearward, give or take a tad.

The vast majority of my Shift sales are sold with skins'n'crampons. In the UK most have to fly to the snow so Shifts with skins and a 95-105mm underfoot one ski quiver or two skis fitted with QK...

All the Raider 11, 13 & 15 Evo models are identical apart from their din ranges. The biggest difference is whether they're used with the AL13 Evo Freeride Spacer Kit, which is a must IMO irrespective...

You need the AL09 Freeride Spacer for all the (non-Evo) Raider models and it hooks under the heel base. The AL07 screws to the ski and is designed for tech heels without brakes.

It's only the Evo 15 that includes the toe shim (and freeride spacer), for the other Evo models they have to purchased separately.

They're poor compared to a screw-in helicoil/insert but if you must use one I'd strongly recommend applying epoxy.
