At Winter Park we'd slow at 45, shut down at 55. On the 6 pack we'd usually have to slow before 45 due to solos not sitting in the middle and chair swing.

Fellow ME here. Why drill a hole in the posts, reducing their strength? Any testing done on the strength of the posts vs a bolted joint vs the tear out strength of the screw on the regular cast...

Go to lifthouse, ask them to drill for a regular pivot mount, but don't mount them. Mount and drill the extra two holes yourself.

Yep. The original plastic cover had a hole in it from someone's poles which broke the DIN indicator piece. So I replaced the covers and indicator piece from another clapped out pair.
