Then there is no way your hand would be able to activate trigger.
La Voute in La Grave.
Should be on this list for an accessible classic.
Photo doesn't do justice to the scale.

^ yip : above photo is certainly far from ideal.
however given it is front screws and on heel (rather than toe) think I am happy to take a punt on them...

I just picked up some new touring skis.
Cheap deal on 2017 Movement Apex / 183cm / 1.5kg.
Really pleased with them.
However : there is no centre line marked on the ski.....

OK, so added another US-05 salafe starter.
Then next day chucked in some champagne yeast for good measure.
Got the final gravity down to 1014 after another week.
Not ideal, but a nice recovery....
This.
As mentioned you want something 80-90mm with tip rocker ? 150-160cm, not too stiff.
Anything fatter will likely be a handful.
Most people who want 100mm skis know it themselves.
Though to...
Try this.

Thanks for thoughts. Will try mixing up packet of Salafe US-05 yeast with 500ml water and table spoon of sugar. Then leave for a day before pitching. If that fails then I will...

Here is the recipe
Should have been a classic American style 'hoppy' pale.
Grain Bill
3.2kg pale ale
227g crystal 60L
227g amber
227g munich
True.
However I really don't want to end up with *another* batch of weak / sweet beer that is stuck at 1020 :)
Thanks for the thoughts.
I tried re-pitching new yeast (simply sprinkled in new packet) but with no joy :-(
Apparently a brew stuck at 1020 (OG = 1050) has enough alcohol to kill an ale yeast ?

You can still find the old version (2.6) online.
AFAIK it is still one of the best free movie editors around.
No idea why microsoft discontinued - however they do lots of dumb stuff.
TGR,
Hope you can help me out and don't mind a random (non-ski) question.

Horrible news.
Remarkably the itinerary seemed to be open?
Though this was on skiers right off the official route marked by yellow poles.
I.e wasnt the usual black spot on first traverse path.

in theory French mountaineering rescues are free but off piste skiing should be covered by carte neige (which you buy with lift pass). so the status for Aiguille du Midi is theoretically different...
^ Don't get me wrong : Val D'Isere is a great ski resort.
Along with Verbier / Zermatt / Trois Vallees & St Anton it is one the *big* 5 Euro ski resorts.
Each of them has something for everyone....
Val D'Isere is great...

+ easily accessible off piste

+ very snow...
Sad news.
We have all likely been on an icy / exposed slope that turned out to be a bad idea at some point.
Not just avalanches that can be deadly.
FWIW : I see at least a couple of people who...
I suspect the uber strong swiss-franc means there might actually be less ski bums hoovering up the powder in CH than 10 years ago ? Especially away from the honey pots of Verbier / Zermatt <etc>
Oh fuck.
That happened to me at least once.
Not cool : great boots but those pivots are infamous for falling out.
Best to add some loctite / glue.
If you cant find a local dealer I am near...
If we were playing TGR-euro bingo this would be an almost full house!
Nice write up.
Verbier is great for lift accessed off piste skiing - can easily access a variety of aspects and altitudes off the lift system. IMHO better "ski resort" than Chamonix - which is more suited for ski...
