So cast, shift, or Duke pt. No walk mode eh
Seems like a viable option. I have some old hojis mounted inbounds and find them super dialed. Just getting clacked out. The new hojis are a little light for in bounds imo

Exactly what I'm seeking. Dedicated for chairlifts. Thanks strange meadow lark. Was definitely seeking a heavier build for West coast pow.

Picked up a 187 saba pro 107 on steep discount, and curious as to anyone who can compare to a hoji.
Currently have an arsenal of Hojis, Ren's, and Ravens, for BC and Resort, but was feeling bold...

Saw them at Powertrip in Indio and again in Vancouver.
Full send.
I swear at powertrip they slowed down the timing on Rosetta stoned at one point and it felt like it was in slow motion.........
So I picked up some Plum r170 heel pieces to mount with the MTN toes. $250 on ski uphill.

Also, in my perusing, any thoughts on the atk trofeo 10 ?...
Thanks for all the great feedback!
I have some thinking to do.

So I've been a hardcore advocate of the MTN binding for many years.
I have them on all my touring skis and most of them are four to five years old.
This past spring I bought a new pair which...
Holding on to MTNs as I secured some used hojis for the quiver.

Springs break, I broke two on a base camp trip in May.
Pretty unfortunate as I have two other pairs, five yrs old and still trucking. The pair that broke was a 22/23 model.

I had to ski to different hojis on a trip recently. Fuck yah, barely noticed.
Renagdes slay
Hojis play
Ravens do it any way
That's what I think about them....
Well I have a spare set lying around. Maybe I'll dabble.

I pro actively replaced my mtns from 5 yrs ago with a new set at the end of April.
Went to an icefield in May and both toe pieces failed at the spring insert interface.
This happened over two...
I have two Hardtails - one set up 29, one 27+
Both have their applications and when I know it'll get a bit rowdy I go for the +

Always hunting for the heavier gen hojis, excellent resort ski. Tour well too.
The older Ren's in 186 felt too short, but I never skied the big bois

I put the spoiler on my hawx 130 xtd, prefer them over the hoji 130 for what it's worth.

Toured in Rockies for 5 yrs and now 5 yrs on coast
Hojis crush, so versatile.
Also have Ravens for fitness laps
Renegades when the day warrants it.
Haha. Hey man, skiing is fucking great. Passion for the the tools is awesome.
BMTs were a great and well loved tool in my books....
Fair point, I typically use hojis and Ren's on proper tours. Ravens for fitness laps.
The bmts felt less stompy on cliff drops imo. Probably mount point related.

Worth the trip, trees are legit and you can yo yo and huck cliffs if you need. I've gone unguided on two occasions, it's a place where having viz at some point helps because all the prized peaks...

Had both BMT and hojis....pretty similar on the uptrack.
Now have a quiv of hojis x 2, raven, ren....their pretty easy to manage on any ski track. Even icy tracks, my thought is more ski base...
I also did and had nothing to reply, because it was the honest truth.

I was thinking about this today, inboard.
For what it's worth bike shop checked it out today and said, yeah shouldn't happen - pedal was in good shape, completely supportive of a warranty claim.
...
Yeah HT, not any pedal strikes of impacts, but I ride a lot, maybe excessive wear last spring summer and fall...
Have had my chromag scarabs for a while longer and probably punished them more...
Yeah, but how does a pedal that new contaminate so quick, I'm pretty diligent with cleaning and grease

Wondering if it's been seen before in the short use span.
Considering I serviced them in Sept and ride my other bike all winter, I was surprised it snapped.

Thinking bearing overheated and exploded causing internal axle to also shear.
One yr old, and serviced last Sept. I ride a lot....
