I'm bummed the 193 bc120s disappeared, that was top of list for a Japan mixed duty ski for me.
RBC was 100% worth the hype
Sunday delivered at the hill, great sunny laps and summit lift opening was so fun.
Headed for bach for my bachelor party this weekend. RBC is on the menu, so nice to see it called out here
I gotta admit Im just not even sure where to go from here, theres so many options with Praxis. Was looking for something like a 189-192cm, 115-122mm, 1850-2100g powder oriented ski I could mount w/...
I saw the praxis custom ski page mention you can modify width, has anyone gone for a slightly skinnier protest, like in the 118-122 waist range?
Agreed. There were fun turns to be had but it was Def easy to find the heavy, funky stuff too. Curious how tmrw will play out, hordes expected but I predict another underdeliver on new snow based on...

You assume they have someone who does this for a living working on this, or that it's actually a priority for them.
Did I miss this announcement? Showed up in the ultra tapered 122 "have you considered" carousel but not in the main catalog...

Thanks for the review. I was pretty keen on going up weds but couldn't rally any pals and had some work issues looming over me that ended up keeping me home. Sounded like it was the mixed bag which...
Trew makes some great priced, PNW oriented gear. They've also got a touring line if you wanna go lighter weight, I got their touring bibs second hand here in GS but end up using them regularly...
Wait, it's not the same?! That's kinda fucked of zipfit to take well known nomenclature and flip it.
Anyone else notice the overwhelming majority of ski reviews posted are now either first looks or flash reviews? By my napkin math, less than 10% of of reviews posted this season are actual full...
The perfect combo of emoji syndrome and broken photos, well done ?
Hyak was pretty fun this morning, coverage looking pretty good!
I'm 6'3, 215 and went for the 193 FR120, I don't think it skis long and from my two days on them, super maneuverable while still being stable when I let em ride. All my skis are 189+ so 193 made...
If boots are on the table, I'd aim for getting a nice boot setup! Skis come and go, but getting a pair of boots/liners you love will last you for years and make everything better. Then you can...
Blister Summit is gonna have double boa boots (and hundreds of skis and other ski related items) to demo.
-7.25cm was recommended by MO so that's where I put em
Got my first day out on the Fr120s! Was a little worried they'd be overkill for the underperforming 5"of fresh over a very icy base. Worries were unfounded, skis were immediately intuitive and easy...
Who's ready for powder frenzied weekend?
Stoked for snow but scared for how bad commute, parking and lift lines will be after a month of no snow.
Oh well, gotta test the HL Fr120s out!
Too bad images are broken
Stoke levels are high on these FRs, just need some fresh snow to take em out in. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20250125/64bc713743aeb98419ca69e4feafad3c.jpg
Didn't they drop the vision lineup? Or was that just the 118?
I picked up some deeply discounted 189 v118s last season and put some atks on them. Haven't actually gotten a chance to tour with them but got some fresh tracks in bounds with them and could see them...
I'm gonna guess blue pivots
That whole lineup of topsheets look ridiculous. Who approved these?!
Love these top sheets
Agreed! What a great looking lineup.
Good plan!
Judging by the forecast...no rush :nonono2:
I've got some Heritage Labs skis showing up this week and I don't have the tools/space/skills to mount them myself, but I don't particularly trust evo to handle a non standard mount (no stamp on the...
Just to confirm: If I mount skis w/ pivots and decide I want to castify them at a later date, I can do that w/ the conversion kit and reuse the original pivot holes right?
Stoked to finally have a delivery date from USPS (1/14) on some 193 (192 now?) FR120s headed my way. I even splurged and got some harlaut 2.0 cuz I thought the white/red would look nice.
Rode my...
TNF Booties (or mules look pretty good too) are good winter getting around gear.
I've got a pair of 162cm line pandora 110s, had one mount for shifts, used for 1.5 seasons on powder days so great condition. Hmu if interested!
Yeesh, doing a tour with graybird touring at crystal end of feb, had the idea it'd be nice to wake up at the mountain/within an hour of the place to make the morning a little less stressful but there...
When can I buy a hybrid double boa 130 fitted boot?
Thought I wasn't getting along with my BGs at the end of last season and was ready to put em on the chopping block, but some tip and tail detuning and a week in Jackson hole has brought the love...
Do you like fish sticks?
13" on our last day? I'll take it, praise ullr!
This is actually what we ended up picking.
Not particularly into grateful dead but sounds like a fun time and there's lasers!
Any recs for 5 early 30s folks trying to find a fun spot to ring in the new year in Jackson?
"The union wants Park City Mountain owner Vail Resorts to raise the patrollers’ base wage from $21 to $23 per hour across all resorts to adjust for nationwide inflation."
When they say "across all...
For real [emoji28] this place is magical though, so much to explore
I figured.. But I'm a cool tourist! I post on trg!
Here for the holidays and happy to hit during a snow storm, but got up for a few hours after driving from big sky this morning and confused to find most of the mountain closed off? Was just poking...
Planning on afternoon shift today, it's dumping down in town, can't wait to get up and see how it landed at the resort.
First day at big sky, glad I brought on3p cuz my partners got lots of core shots to show for powder seeker laps [emoji28]
Was a merry Christmas and a wonderful day with pow and sun
Skiing schweitzer the next two days and looking for a good boot fitter in Sandpoint or on mountain to deal with some arch issues for a friend, any recs?
