Agreed, it's pretty clear. Just make sure it fully clicks back up into ski mode when going downhill. Otherwise, potential for insta-tele. Nice binder other than this.

on one of my Vipec blacks. Called BD about a replacement nut. They told me to fill out a warranty form, and forward to him. I did. BD then sent me two brand-new...

Went out today on my Vipec blacks for the first time this season. I have toured the last 20-25 days on Kingpins on my powder touring boards.

I know it's been said before, but damn, the difference...

Anyone running Vipec blacks brakeless? Any issues? I think you have to mount the brake base (just no brake arms), but otherwise seems pretty straightforward. I'm thinking about trying to get it light...

That's funny - I came to the opposite conclusion. Vipec for firm snow, due to its toe dampening. Kingpin for soft snow because toe vibration doesn't matter as much in pow-pow. But I'm guessing L's...
