A Gyro is only good for running one cable: the rear brake.

On mountain bikes you typically have 3 cables going from the bars to the frame: Rear Brake, Front Deraileur and Rear Deraileur.

You can't run a Gyro on a Mt. Bike because there are too many cables.

However, they make star nuts you can run a front brake cable through. Run the rest of your cables long.
