No change. Same ski. Mount point hasn’t changed either - Line just measures their center in a weird way. I think they measure setback from the center of the sidecut or cambered portions vs the center...

Detune (like fully dull) the front half of the ski - like from the binding toe piece forward. The back half you can gummy to your liking.

Tough one. I think they be better on the line, especially with the way the metal in the ski is split at the midsole mark to allow them to flex like crazy, but idk if it’s worth buying new clamps if...

Softer tongue? I believe D is the softest, so if you have a C tongue, you could drop down a notch.

All three of my kids put a season on the same pair of 148 rustler teams. Solid skis that held up to a beating.
Dynastar Menace 90s are also a good tween ski.
K2 Reckoner 92 is another quality...
