It just highlights the massive levels of entitlement most mountain town dwellers have. Most if not all have never heard the word no before, but mountain town economics mean the kid who was raised in an upper class family isn't the top of the food chain anymore like they were back in VT.
They want an affordable single family home with a garage, acreage and allows dogs (no more than 10 minutes from the lift), work maybe 30 hours a week (you know work life balance), and at least 6 weeks off every spring and fall for the Moab mtb trips and to recharge spiritually (#forthegram)
Meanwhile the rest of the world seems to realize there are compromises when it comes to the place you live.
