Leaving the Chiefs willingly for the Dolphins? LOL.Quote:
The contract extension was the sticking point that led to Hill's divorce from the Chiefs. The receiver had been offered a deal that would have made him one of the NFL's highest-paid receivers with the Chiefs, but the offer did not satisfy the speedster
He just bailed on a golden opportunity. Playing with Mahomes as the #1 weapon, high likelihood of future SB wins and a fast track to the Hall of Fame. Now? We'll see...
I mean WTF. In an absolutely stacked division, giving up your #1 playmaker is insanity.
What a fukkin insane off-season.
That's a crazy haul for Hill, IMO. Deal makes a lot of sense to me. They needed the cash savings, and 5 draft picks, including a 1st and 2nd this year, is a lot.
Hill doesn’t scare me in MIA as much with their QB situation and the Chefs got weaker in the short term, +1 for the Bills.

For sure. I understand the Chiefs selling high on Hill when he's demanding a mega contract. He's exactly no one's idea of a "high character" guy. But Mahomes' job just got a lot harder.
Dolphins don't have adequate QB play. Are they a dark horse Jimmy G team?

Jimmy G Miami? Jesus, he'd be fucking everything in sight and not have any time left for that football shit.
Hill in FLA? What could go wrong…
Maybe just his first stop on bouncing around a few teams. I am thinking his headspace may be a contributing factor.
My GF is like who’s Tyreek Hill? I said you know, the guy I always say is a bad citizen when he makes a big play.
And Calvin Ridley gets suspended for betting $1500 bucks…

Five fucking draft picks for a wide receiver, whose game is entirely dependent on being the fastest guy on the field (and he’s 28 and will be 32 when the contract ends). And they are paying him $30M a year. And they don’t even have a quarterback to utilize him! The dolphins just fucked themselves for multiple years.
Kap to Seattle is a possibility.
Wow. If Kaep gets a starting job before someone trades for Baker then... wow.
Crickets over at the Death Star.
What going on over there?
Yeah. Odd. It's not like they're in draft pick heaven.
Apparently a second grand jury has convened in a different Texas county to discuss Watson's behavior.
Yeah, this is all going to plan.

My first thought as well. Apparently the Browns were aware of this second grand jury and were comfortable with their diligence. I'd like to see what, if any, contingencies this is all based on.
Remember, the Browns still haven't introduced Watson.
Wasn't it? 2020 was such a magical time.
I guess this is what we get for daring to veer out of our lane as the Lovable Losers and play like the big boys do.
As a bills fan I love this all the way around. Kc got worse by a lot, and he won’t be nearly as effective in Miami and Miami just gave away their drafts. It’s perfect.

While I'm too invested to abandon ship with the Brownies, it may be time to start throwing more attention at the neighbors up the Lake.
