It’s not so bad to take on an overpaid mediocre player, when you are getting rid of another overpaid mediocre player!

Juice is overpaid? Maybe. He’s still a fucking stud on any team.
Ok, so there's about 8 teams interested in getting Watson. Rumor is the basic ask is 3 first round picks.
What do we think? Would you want him on your team with the accusations? And what's he worth?
Baker to the Buccs?
This apparently well respected scout is still all in on Baker, which is interesting.

I don't know who that guy is, but he's saying half the league would take Baker as their starter right now. Arians maybe wanting Baker seems to back that up.
It does seem like a common refrain is fans thinking Baker sucks while everyone inside the Cleveland organization and most around the inside of the NFL seem to think he's at least solid. Remember Kurt Warner's long video defense of Baker as another example. Not sure there is a more polarizing player in the NFL. Or at least one with as much hate outside the league and "like" inside the league ("love" seems overly strong.)
Like normal, the Browns are finding brand new ways to create drama. It's a gift.
Don’t think so

Whoever bought this has to be pissed…

Brady isn’t done! LMFAO
Is it just Giselle telling him to get out of the house and/or find a hobby? My wife pretty much told me that about 2 months into work from home.
Another two years with Cousins at the helm…[emoji53]. Free’s up some cap space. A top 10ish QB. Better than any alternatives. Skol?
That was all over NFL chatter this last week and I believe it. No way is Baker as bad as the Stephen As of the world would have you believe. He’s going to be healthy and he’s going to be pissed. I want that on my team.
There’s a reason teams are inquiring about Baker, I just hope Andrew Berry keeps him in Cleveland.
I’m glad to see Brady coming back, nothing would please me more than to see Josh Allen boat race him in Arizona into his actual retirement. Fuck that guy.
And Cousins? Good enough to give you hope, just bad enough to know you’re going nowhere

Brady is just going for 50, eh?
Cousins is a great QB to get you 9 wins. Nothing more, nothing less.
Amari is a good trade for Browns. Expensive, but a 1,000 yard receiver talent for a 5th is a no brainer.
Deshaun Watson is a predator, but that’s separate from the trade request. Houston has ventured into dumpster fire territory, but you’d think $160 million would buy you some commitment. One year into that deal and he’s had enough…that says alot
Cooper has been traded twice now. First by the Raiders who didn't want to pay him like one of the top WRs in the league, and now by the Cowboys for the same reason. Why? He isn't one of the top WRs in the league. He's a heck of a route runner, and hasn't missed many games, but he doesn't have the speed to be a legit deep threat or the quickness to get open early. He's not a guy you need to double, and if you put an elite corner on him he doesn't have much of an impact. He's a heck of a player, but not a great one.
$20 million a year (or more) for Adams, Diggs, Jefferson, Hill or Chase is money well spent. Cooper is a couple tiers down, closer to Brandin Cooks. Paying top dollar for guys who aren't among the very best is bad business. Ask Seahawks fans how they feel about Jamal Adams.
Why would a team want to pay Cooper $60 million over three years? They are desperate for WR and the GM is worried that me might get fired if they don't make the playoffs.
I’m not saying your wrong, but keep in mind Cooper has a voidable contract with no dead money now playing for a team that has the cap space this year.
So if he’s awesome, great keep him. If he’s not either restructure the contract or just let him go. No worries either way.
Cooper is a high floor / low ceiling guy. I think it’s a great gamble for a useless 5th round pick.
Yeah, he’s probably overpaid, but not by much when guys like Sutton, Landry and Robinson make $15-17m, and I’d take Cooper over all of them.
Golliday gets $18m and couldn’t even score a TD!
Browns release Jarvis Landry.
Did not expect that. (thought they'd try the trade route, but maybe this is more friendly to Jarvis and increases the likelihood that he could come back)
PITTSBURGH STEELERS FANS:
Meet your new QB1!
https://dknation.draftkings.com/2022...-length-amount
This is wonderful news for Browns fans everywhere.
This has been the most hilarious free agent season ever.
Where's Jimmy G going to land now?
Mitchell Trubisky and Mason Rudolph will battle it out for the right to get chased around by Myles Garrett twice a year.
This is hilarious stuff.
Hey Squealers fans, remember this?

I could see Trubisky having a decent level of success with the Steelers. He's definitely better than Rudolph, and probably on par with Mayfield.
Decent = no passes over 20 yards.
Honestly, if they're going to tank the season like this, they should have just stayed with Rudolph.
Christian Kirk just a got a massive deal from the Jags. 4 years $72 million (up to $84 million). He's never had a 1000 yd season. I take back what I said about the Amari Cooper trade. If teams are giving stupid money to every good WR on the market then the Browns did just fine.
These sports agents are robbing these teams blind.
Oh fuck yeah, Chargers get themselves a shut down corner.

Thats gonna upset this guy:

I have zero doubt that Kaep would make a better option than Mitchell Trubisky, and I have no doubt that Kaep is in shape and that he’s been blacklisted, I just don’t think he’s actually about playing anymore. His brand is stronger without playing. The stunts he pulled at his last tryout made his comeback attempt come off as disingenuous, but hey, who knows.
If my life depended on the outcome I would absolutely take Kap over Mitch and several other QB’s in the league right now.
