I'd agree with you that Lamar will probably miss 2 games.

For Wentz and Cousins, I think if they miss games they will be benched. They already are pretty sucky. Their coaches better follow Bellichick's approach (with Cam) and not Urban Meyers' (One of his more stupid press conferences moments), if they want to avoid some investigations from the NFLPA (and just in general).


Side note: I think the Ravens are really going to miss Marcus Peters, he brings a lot of energy and makes teams change their O game plan. He might be a bigger loss than Lamar missing a game or two.

I don't really have a dog in the fight, I guess I'm happy to see things that insult/offend specific groups people get changed, I'm not offended, but I'm not a member of their communities.

Just wanted to show that this issue goes way beyond the Washington Football Team.

While the logos and mascots of many of these teams could be seen as offensive, the name "Redskins" is pretty much in a class by itself. It's a pretty bad example of the "fear of offending times we're in".

Two teams undefeated when you include the preseason (preseason!, preseason!, we talkin' about preseason?)

Chiefs and Broncos. Nice to see the Broncs playing decently this year. Still doubtful it will last.

My high school was The Braves until the late 1980s. Logo was very similar to the Black Hawks, not a ridiculous caricature cartoon. Local tribal folks asked if we would change it. Probably 75% were cool with their polite request. Bummer but again, not a hill to die on seeing as most of them were actually killed.

I'm thinking state names with native etymology will be next. "Oklahoma" translates to "home of red people". The pale faces there aren't going to take any change well hahahaha.

Holy hell. Leave it to the bears to make it close even after a pick 6 followed by 2 more picks! Defense mostly showed up but rookie QB looked nervous. He did get the crucial 1st down at the end though.

Not looking forward to next week and the browns...

I'm streaming 92.3 the Fan online right now on what is a Browns' Victory Monday, but holy shit you'd think they just got blanked by the Bengals at home.
