Against what looked like a mediocre defense though. Rodgers may have to dial up 35+ points every game.
Packers D looked a lot better once they put Stokes on the outside instead of King. Maybe they will finally figure it out
In news that surprises nobody outside of the Miami front office, Tua is brittle AF.
Jarvis Landry out for at least 3 weeks.
So him and OBJ on the bench. That’s nice.

I still contend that all Thursday night games are garbage.
Except for the one where Baker made his debut and opened all the beer fridges.
That one was epic.
I fully expected Darnold to be this good in our offense. The Jets were and always will be completely incompetent. I guess Zach Wilson will have to endure a few brutal seasons before any potential can be realized.
I'm optimistic about CMC. They'd rule him out for any injury that required a trip to the blue tent; he is just too valuable throughout the course of a season to risk aggravating an injury in a week 3 game against a 3rd string QB.
Sam Darnold is looking like Joe Montana.
I don’t know, Joe had a bit less of that cro-magnon man look to him.
Maybe time with the Jets really does affect a man.
I'm giving the Panther's D an A-. Pretty damned good. Gonna miss McCaffrey. Panthers have a history of bringing people back too soon and ending careers basically. Olson, Newton for example.. If it were up to me I'd sit Christian down all season and save him for the playoffs unless this really was just a cramp..

Gronk and TB look tired. Herbert and the Chargers are fun to watch. The jests and bares are not good football teams.
The Jets belong in the CFL. What an embarrassment of a franchise.
Ravens are finishing things in exciting ways, two games in a row.

They let Adams back in after that hit?! I'd have called it a career after that.
How 'bout that!
How embarrassing for a defensive unit, everyone, coaches included.
What a shitty shitty coaching job by the 49ers. Let the guy score with too much time then commit the ultimate scaredy-cat mistake of playing soft prevent defense with 37 seconds left.

I haven’t seen that bad of officiating in a long time. Great last series by Green Bay. But man, how do you let Davante get loose twice like that?
I'm still in awe, and slightly concerned, that Davante kept playing.
Yeah, what's he up to?
No shit, wasn't he with Johnny Football in that made up fantasy player league where the "fans" call the plays?
The Bears suck. Fields sacked 9 times...reminds me of Ferris Bueller. Nagy, for some offensive genius, really doesn't adapt well to defensive schemes...that or the Browns D is just that good, which it might be.
I know exactly where Bears fans are right now. Come on over to the Drink the Depression Away thread, there’s help there.
I think the Bears are that bad, but I also think the Browns D played how they were supposed to play yesterday. Myles called out his teammates, led by example and they dominated. Let’s hope they can keep it up.
Bares, jests…nyg need a pathetic epithet at this point…
Barkley needs to escape NY & find somewhere that won’t just ruin him, if it hasn’t already
Great game & finish on SNF…Garrapolo kept Roger’s feet to the fire
& fukya Justin Herbert
What?! You guys didn’t hear?

SF hasn't had a shutdown secondary in a long, long time--and that's with the first string playing. They were scraping the bottom of the barrel for DB's against a HOF QB and WR. As far as running down the clock more--if all you need is 3 then yeah, run down the clock, but when you need 7 you take the TD when you can get it.
Speaking of which, why did Gruden screw around until the last seconds before kicking the game winner in OT. It's sudden death so no need to run down the clock. Kick the damn field goal when you get close enough. Bad snaps and holds happen. Leave yourself time to try again.
