So... Pat King isn't racist, he just uses racist 'wording and verbiage'? Got it.

That about sums it up right there....
LOL- Posting CBC articles and CBC content isn't going to get you any credit bud.....
Go arrest some Ukranian protestors and freeze there bank accounts for making to much noise....
I don’t have much time to reply at the moment but they all cater to a biased. CBC is well known to cater to liberal so trying to prove a point on a center ground using There media is comical....
News wires like Reuter’s are usually 50/50 and media like bbc are a bit better on RW but no matter what don’t believe everything you read...
I agree that CBC leans left, but I find it to still report facts and they interview RW pols when I listen. So I just don't understand the derision of the people in the "convoy" hurling insults at them or posters laughing about links here. It doesn't seem to be clickbait journalism or worthy of the frothing at the mouth Tucker tirade the other night, but I'm open to others. Reuters is very center and factual, I agree.
I will just park this here for a good read if your interested. Time to go ski....

Sunwing employee selling fake tests:

I heard about something similar happening in Mexico with my MIL's friend's friends travelling back from Mexico to Edmonton. They tested positive and then paid a pharmacist for a clean test, then sat on a plane with covid rather than wait it out on the beach. People suck.
Problem with the media-distrusters is that facts tend to lean left, so there's no appeasing them.
Still waiting for the alternative to Trudeau to show up for leadership consideration...
CBC may lean left but you can filter out the left and still trust their facts,
as opposd to the american news source that posted a woman trampled to death by a police horse storey which was later rescinded, how do you fuck that up, did they do it on purpose ?
there is still the guardian/ independant
I don't recall if anyone ever answered your question, but the updated wording on the Canadian website now clarifies this:
https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/tr...-entry-testingQuote:
Starting February 28: proof of a professionally administered or observed antigen test taken outside of Canada no more than 1 day before to your scheduled flight or entry to Canada by land or water
the one day window does not depend on the time of day the test was taken or the time of your flight or entry
for example, if your flight is scheduled to leave or you enter by land any time on Friday, you could provide proof of a negative result from an antigen test taken any time on Thursday, or on Friday
So the answer is it's not 24 hours, it just needs to be no older than the calendar day before.
Did you see Dee Snider of Twisted Sister's tweet yesterday?
Classic.Quote:
People are asking me why I endorsed the use of "We're Not Gonna Take It" for the Ukrainian people and did not for the anti-maskers. Well, one use is for a righteous battle against oppression; the other is a infantile feet stomping against an inconvenience.
The forecast for WW that I looked at said mixed precip and 4*C at the base for Tues with temps cooling to around the freezing level with snow as the week progresses. I'd say go for it with the option of heading further north to Revy where their Stoke Chair (5300' asl to 7300'asl) should be below freezing temps.
Just came back to this post. Spoke to some friends of mine who live in Ottawa, read a bit about the scope of powers munis and provinces have and have come around to your thinking. If I may, that Trudeau could've done little and that the onus was on munis and province to deal with it.
Yeah they were all saying honk honk/ fuck trudeau/ meet with us/ resign, more or less
who was the "US" and why bother meeting with them ? what could Trudeau do besides resign which wasn't gona happen ?
Muni / province/ everybody dropped the ball and so what could Trudeau do but declare an emergency and it worked
I personaly feel blessed when a brilliant legal mind like yours takes time out from the hectic schedule of eating & skiing his way across BC to render a legal opinion

Anyone got info on how long it might take to cross by car from US into Canada Friday morning at Blackpool?
Trying to figure out how early to leave to catch a flight in Montreal.
Thx in advance!

Recently crossed into Canada at Nelway with no issues. Came back through Paterson cause Nelway closes at 4. Both crossings took all of 5 mins.
Wooooot! I've been thinking I should go back to Lake Louise first week of April. Perfect!
Yea great news. Am driving up to AK early April. Can quit checking this thread. Just have to hope for some good news in the gas thread.
Ha ha!! Agreed! Flight leaves in 4 hrs to Kelowna. Already tested and ready to go. This trip has been canceled 3 times over the past 2 years… Hoping the US will now lighten up so I can cancel my test to get back in…

Leave it to the Canadian government to choose April Fool's Day.
You know that ^^ would be by misteak cuz the gov could fuck up a wet dream

Canadian border today on ready to Montreal took 3 minutes at 0900.
Checked my antigen test result but didn't confirm my vaccination status.

Anyone cross the border lately? I’m curious how “random” the take-with-you Covid tests are… or if they just give them to just about everyone.
