While varies from time to time and place to place, I have found the border/customs people are well practiced in making it as difficult as possible without needing "job action" as an excuse.

Were you bullied as a child and if so for how many years?
With so little traffic over last 18 months are they letting out all their anti social feeling?
The link that you posted has actually been updated to clarify that vaccinated infected people (and not uninfected people) are as infectious as unvaccinated infected people. Notably, this means that on a population level, vaccination does reduce overall transmissability as an uninfected person is still a harder target to infect.
Behold the following two tidbits:
andQuote:
CDC provided data last week that showed how fully vaccinated people who get a breakthrough infection can carry essentially that same amount of virus as an unvaccinated person, allowing them to transmit the virus just like an unvaccinated person can.
That is why the CDC is recommending even vaccinated people wear masks indoors again, Walensky said.
Quote:
Clarification: This post has been updated to specify that Walensky was referencing fully vaccinated people who get a breakthrough infection when saying that vaccines no longer prevent transmission of Covid-19.

Trying to convince hesitant unvaxxed people to get vaccinated and also telling them that after they get vaxxed, they still need to wear a mask. How is that going to motivate anyone to change their thinking or behaviour enough to get the vax?
Make it mandatory for driving licenses, hunting licenses, marriage licenses, schools, colleges, bus passes, theatre/music tickets, and purchasing beer, ammo, and cigarettes. And voting. And prison/jail/church. And getting tax refunds, and winning the lotto/lottery. And applying for credit cards and bank accounts. And flying, taking buses, trains, or skiing. And health insurance, and being seen at a hospital or clinic. Or welfare, or food stamps.
Epic stupidity requires epic solutions.
Yes and then expand on that to fill any gaps. Enough is enough

Listen to yourselves- The media and fear has stole your ability of common sense.
Basic human rights law on an international scale gives everyone the right to choose what they do to their body’s.
In perspective It’s like you guys are telling a woman she has no decision in having an abortion....
The pieces of the puzzle will fall into place and we will all see the bigger picture some time distant in the future hopefully the guinea pigs and sheeple are still around to see it.
gosh i can’t think of the last time an abortion affected me.
is it that you yourself was aborted?
I think its the fact that if you take the vax then you have a 100% of getting the .001% of serious side effects and 70% chance of the mild side effects that almost everyone gets. Whereas if you don't get the vax then you can convince yourself you won't get it. Even though you may or may not, really be trying not to get it. You're not in your mind trying to get so you probably won't get it.
If you don't get the vac its up to you but be prepared to have some freedoms of movement taken away. Eventually everyone will be immune. By vax, or infection, or death. Some parts of me say to hell with overloading health system. Get it done and maybe the delta will do that.
I can't see how Vax hesitancy will not affect every aspect of life, it will be required
otherwise the antivaxxer will be choosing to miss out on work, travel, opportunities whatever you can think of
beside that part where you are way more likely to die from covid
back on track, this is basically what happened to my folks. even though they had all the info filled out ahead of time the border guys said there was a problem with paperwork from arrive canada and weren’t interested in proof of vax, the negative test, anything. have a nice quarantine, eh

If the vaxxed can still get covid and the vaxed are still transmissible, but the vaxed have less symtoms, including more asymptomatic cases with less restrictions for the vaxed than are we not setting up society for a super spread event?
Seems to me more people will be infected and spreading without knowing it. This would probably take us back to the start of the pandemic....

That is the guy who wrote the extremely popular book Body for Life. Former competitive bodybuilder, supplements peddler, etc, etc. Ok, he was in his 50's, not 20's, but a super-fit health nut - which is probably the only reason he survived.
My wife is friends with his brother's ex, and received a more detailed, grueling account, which sounded hideous (and extremely touch-and-go), and included yet another "I regret not getting the vaccine," statement, from the hospital bed. Ironically, dude had been training hard for some peak or other at the time he got infected, saying, "I hope to be at my peak of fitness by the end of July...god willing."
The thing you're omitting is that current evidence suggests breakthrough cases are rare. Although vaccinated people can still get infected and spread the virus they are way less likely to than unvaccinated people. Being vaccinated is far and away the best way to protect the population from further spread.
The data is always changing
