I spent one year teaching high school drama and it was one of the most challenging things I ever did. The guy who'd been doing it 35 years retired and they stuck me in there (I mostly taught English). Had to put on four public performances with these kids, many of whom were freshmen. Talk about herding cats, holy shit. It required a tremendous amount of patience and organization. I've done a lot of different jobs in my life, but that one year really stands out as being a true test of my intestinal fortitude.Quote:
