For some this was a bucket list kind of a night and then they go and do this? I’m really not of fan of people lately.

The blisterpack on Energizer CR3022 batteries. JFC. It's a wonder I'm not bleeding right now.
Getting back from a five day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon and wife tests + for the 'VID.
At least she didn't come down with it just before...
Very Important Disease syndrome?????
That's not good; hoping you mean something more specific? Like the 'vid?
I think he meant VD
It annoys me that Apple and Android/Google can’t get together to make satellite texting capable in between devices. It could literally save a life.
Or, in other words, I’m annoyed that my wife refused to get an IPhone, and just got a Pixel 9.
What actually is the problem? Apple People wanting the world to bend to them is annoying. Ever since ITunes was hijaking MP3s I've been "fuck that".

I'm interested in this just to know how it works and its limitations because I'm involved in teaching people this stuff. InReach's just work. It sounds like the Iphone solution maybe doesn't?
Unlike here, having to restrain myself on LinkedIn as a professional. A company made a post about Indigenous Peoples Day and I really, REALLY want to comment something snarky, as one of the most prominent companies in the industry is going through some ongoing and much deserved litigation from a tribe that this company recently tried dicking over pretty blatantly. I'm 100% on the tribe's side and something I've been raising the alarm about.
Anyway, it's the faux niceness on LinkedIn that drives me absolutely insane. Yes, I also can't stand when people get political on there either, but MAN some of the bad players really need to be called out more often, yet so many are afraid to.
Even I'm being a pussy about it because I'm still trying to break in to the industry to begin with and don't want to cross the wrong people. I already screwed up on that royally in a recent panel interview... and didn't get the job for. They asked what I had to say about a certain controversial subject and how I would navigate it in a tricky negotiation. It's something I'm QUITE familiar with, so in my discussion I mentioned the company by name who so egregiously screwed the pooch, and then after I wrapped up, one of the guys was like "I worked for X company for years" and the tone definitely shifted after that. Got my rejection a couple days later. Doh!!! It's true tho. That company is a known major dickhead in the field and was running around with reckless abandon. Basically the domestic version of BP. But sheeit. I messed that one up. Haha.
The iPhone solution works great…if everyone has iOS. I was never an apple fanboy, I had android phones forever. However, my business integrates with iOS in ways that Android does not, so that was that.
As to the satcom, Apple developed this technology, and made the phones capable of using it years ago, long before it was usable.
Google did not. I don’t think the burden should be on the originator to adapt to another format, UNLESS there were humanitarian reasons to do so.
Same for google. It would really cost either of them peanuts to have a truce for emergency communications sake.
I saw this a while back.

It annoys me when someone builds a sky scraper next to my sky scraper.
College kids. I'm hopeful they'll be back with garbage bags. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c71346248a.jpg
at least they were mixing in some waters.
They were probably late for the Greenpeace rally.
Bought 2 new wiper blades. Took 'em home and a couple days later it looks like it's gonna rain so I go to install them. One of them is fine - a nice new fancy sleek work of art. The other one? Well, someone has gone and swapped out some old broken piece of shit and put it back in the package and I guess returned it to the store. WTF, it's like $18... So now I gotta go back and get it switched out. This shit annoys me.
It's annoying sitting home waiting for the service guy to show up and figure out why the furnace won't kick on.
