Ever since the pandemic my daughter has been cutting my hair and she does a great job so I think I'm set going forward.
Ahh - got it. Referencing the idiots putting hats in the overhead. Seems self limiting, eventually ... coliform infections in the ears, eyes, etc.,
We're all just one big contaminated fecal petri dish. Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.
I'm with you brother. I hate pickles and always order burgers without them, don't even want them touching my food. I go to McDonalds a few times a month and have to say they have not messed up my order in years. This guy is hilarious.

70 bucks for a haircut is cheap.

For me it's a 1/4 in buzz. I use the same clippers for me and for the dog.

Prolonged ATT mobile network outage yesterday. According to the web (which was back up after being down for a couple of hours --not ATT) there are no outages reported so I open a chat and after getting a live rep she says I have to log in to my acct--which I try to do but cannot because it requires 2 factor verification via text to my mobile--which f course is impossible and there are no other options. And without me signing in the rep refuses to help.
Ugh, been having terrible luck with e-commerce lately. One incident was gross incompetence by a major brand, the other was lazy incompetence by me for not recognizing that I was dealing with a scam site. Both time consuming, and annoying.
The first: Fucking Lenovo. Bought a laptop for my wife, paid $100 or so extra for Excel+Word pre-installed (not the cloud deal with an annual fee). Office wasn't pre-installed. Customer service gave me a run-around, instructions on how to get it installed that didn't work, then sent me to Microsoft customer service to get a runaround there. I called back and asked for a refund on the Office software that I never got. "Okay, we'll take care of it." And then a day or two later I get an email saying that the refund is denied; I have to return the whole computer. So I did. Got no acknowledgment about the return, but checking up on the tracking number confirmed that they did receive it. Two weeks later I call them up. "Oh, yes you did return it, wow sorry about that, you'll get confirmation in the next 24 hours." Then nothing, for nearly a week. Finally called up the credit card company and opened a dispute. Refund issued immediately.
The second: I needed some oddball river accessories, and after some Google searches found what I wanted at a decent but not seemingly unusual discount. Some aspects of the check-out seemed irregular (like, no email confirmation, a credit card charge listed for a limousine company instead of a gear retailer, and other things). I looked more carefully: OutdoorPlayUS.com (warning: scam site) has a bogus phone number, a physical address that's a shack in rural Maine, and they basically spoofed an actual e-commerce site (OutdoorPlay.com). Hours later, I get a text from the credit card company saying that they just denied a fraudulent $2000 charge made with my card, and they canceled my card and will reissue with a new number. In the meantime, I have the $74 charge for the gear I thought I was buying. Card company says that I need to wait until May 1 to file a dispute, to allow the scam company time to send me the gear I ordered.
It's not really annoying me, it more pisses me off on the very rare occasions I think about it, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. wtf. How shitty can a thing be? Shit is not as shitty as the RNRHOF. Look at this fucking list: https://futurerocklegends.com/The_Snub_List/
That is some fucked-up shit, that list.
Shit, Ween even got snubbed from the snub list!
Who?
That snubbed list looks like my playlists! RNRHOF seems to just be carrying on the great rock and roll tradition of payola, got to buy your way in. Too many awesome, influential bands on the snubbed list to believe it’s solely based on merit.
It's so frustrating when you want to tell a good customer he's an idiot and to fuck off but can't. Now I have to drive 300 miles for a $50 order because he refuses to use a B2B or go to the effort to find the right part number.
