Ha ha. Deep cut! I love it.

In the winter months, the neighborhood rabbits (of which there are many) will eat my garden shrubs and plants. They will do some "damage" but the end result is always okay in the spring and they leave enough behind that everything looks good. Figured hey, they need to gnaw on something so whatever. There's plenty for all of us!
Well not this winter. A few plants have been taken down to the soil by these fuckers. I hate them. Last night when going to bed I heard a pack of coyotes on the hunt - hoping they were cornering rabbits and not someone's poor cat was music to my ears.
Next winter I go full rabbit defense mode. Now you'll have nothing to chew, you greedy assholes! <shakes fist>
Yeah, this seems to be the new norm. When I worked in a store we had a full dedicated night crew. I actually liked it because you didn't have to shave or wear a uniform. But stores in my town can't seem to get anyone to work graveyard anymore.
The mid-morning stocking is definitely a post-covid thing.
And if you are shopping at that hour then, by definition, you're a geezer.
I should know ...... that's when I shop.
Yep; and I shop early because I'm going to the local dog park........... :D
Restaurants that don’t serve tap water. Even more annoying is that they’re more than willing to sell you bottled water.

Danno- essential workers, man. ;)
With the variability of freight-liners these days, they unload if and when the trucks get there. Which is not when they historically used to get there. We're lucky to get half the trucks here, tbh. Half of them seem to crash on the freeway anymore, spilling my avocados or mangoes. Sheesh.
If working in a hospital is any indication, they just aren’t offering enough incentive to work nights and weekends anymore.
Used to be, the young and single could make 2-3x what us married day shift folks were getting. Shift differentials, quarterly retention bonuses, huge incentives to pick up extra shifts. When I hear “Nobody wants to work anymore” I think “nobody wants the job you’re offering”

Not to mention shift work has now been declared a probable carcinogen by the IARC.
After almost a decade in our small town ER with half her 12hr shifts being overnight, my wife has had enough and is transitioning to home health - M-F, 8:30-16:30. Can’t happen soon enough.

SERIOUSLY!!! I've learned not give out my e-mail to any retailer if I can help it. Lately, stores have been trying to get me to cough it up with cashiers saying it's for warranty purposes. Lol nope, cuz so is my receipt. Some get almost combative when you refuse to give them an e-mail or phone number. They will directly use that info to spam you, but worse, they often sell said info to 3rd parties as well, so they can go screw themselves.
I made an email address called unimportantemail…@…gmail….com.
It usually gets a chuckle.
How about ikon spam? Yeah I have one. Yeah they can email me.
As soon as I use the rfid at a new resort they feel entitled to subscribe me to their regular newsletter. Fuck off.
Companies that accept fax but not email. WTF.
