Shit that annoys you

Roundabouts--while traffic in the roundabout has ROW over cars entering it, if traffic is backed up so that cars in the roundabout are stopped it's illegal to block the lane entering the roundabout. IOW your're supposed to sipper merge intothe roundabout. -It's the same rule that says you're supposed to leave cross streets clear when traffic is backed up at a red light.

While we're at it--when traffic is backed up past a light and people wait to enter the intersection until traffic moves ahead--in order to not be blocking the intersection when the light changes--there's always some asshole on the side street who decides to make a right turn on red into the intersection, keeping it blocked for the cars that still have a green.

People who don't pay attention to when their dog is shitting - when they do it RIGHT on the side of the trail - these assholes have no excuse on why they are not seeing it happen. get off your phones, dipshits. My puppy has taken to eating other dog's shits as of last week and I'm going insane trying to manage it. Now my twice a day, 45-60 minute long idyllic off-leash winter-wonderland dog walks are frustrating nightmares.

Fucking assholes. if it was only a few random poops I'd be fine, but they are EVERYWHERE.

We have a small neighborhood park 5 minutes from the house which is perfect to walk our geriatric pup. She loves it, especially since people only clean shits that are dropped directly on the walking path. Anything that happens a foot to the side in the grass stays there. Sweet Lenora is a ravenous poo hound and will feast on those shits like it's her last meal. I hate having her on a leash at the park because at her age she deserves all the mellow running around she can do but there's no way to stop her other than staying within 3' to yell at her when she discovers a turd.
I bitched out some lady the other day who let her beast take a huge dump about 10' off the path while yapping on her phone. She was genuinely shocked that I was giving her a hard time and tried to justify herself. Eventually she told me she was on the phone and couldn't deal with the issue at the moment. Whoever was on the phone with her got to hear some choice words about their friends after that...

I witnessed an 'emotional support' dog drop a deuce in the middle of a crowded airport concourse once. The owner tried to ignore it, and when confronted, said "it was already there!" It was pathetic. He cleaned it up after arguing that he was going to miss his flight ..tough shit, buddy.

I saw a great variation on this. There; s a construction site up the road that had a porta potty out by the street for a while. Somebody put their bagged dog shit on the ground next to it. Then, some more bags accumulated over time. However the bags were several different colors. So either one person grabs a different bag stash every time or a few people saw the first bag and figured it was a good idea??? Fucking savages.

We've talked about it with Ms Boissal. It would make sense, poor dog had giardia at her first vet visit and probably got it again the second the treatment was done given how much shit she consumes. Hard to muzzle an old ass dog who's basically on her last leg and wants to enjoy her retirement... Plus she happily will eat her own shit in the backyard and that's hard to stay on top of, I clean poop every morning and every evening and she still manages to find some.

You may want to ask the vet about this if you haven't already. Could be a sign of a dietary deficiency. Could also just be your dog being a weirdo.

Be prepared to clean the muzzle .... a lot. I recommend several, set up a rotation.
And unfortunately, they'll still ingest enough for giardia transfer.

The vet thinks it's a miracle she's still alive considering how decrepit she was when she was surrendered to the shelter. Told us she'd be gone in a month, 2 surgeries and a year later she's still going strong. Riddled with cancer, covered in lipomas, arthritic as can be, deaf and mute, but still sending it.
She basically told us that there's not much to do for at this point other than letting her do whatever she wants in her old age. We tried feeding her stuff that makes her shit unpalatable but if anything it made her even more interested. She's definitely a super weirdo. Grossest and most endearing animal I've ever had, it's a special treat when she barfs shit on your feet first thing in the morning before falling face first into it. Then I watch her run around and face plant in deep snow and I figure it's not so bad.
Guess it's good training for getting pissed and pooped on when the baby arrives...
