Love the smell of coffee in the morning and weed anytime after noon.
Pipe > Weed > Cigar > Cigarettes
The smoke smell hierarchy.
lol no
Horse farm> dairy farm> chicken farm
Smelling weed reminds me of being a kid with people burning leaves in the fall. I like it. Alas, I use a vape pen so as to not stink up the house. Also, more convenient and safer than smoking a joint in bed.
GC was super good about it, and all I said about his work ethic and drinking was "your guy seemed a little distracted last week." He agreed that the work was subpar and that he's going to talk to the floor guy about it. I told him I'd pay that portion of the bill when it was sorted.
Glad to hear it's getting fixed
I'd encourage that you can deliver that message without angry confrontation and still give the GC to correct picture -- no need to sugarcoat it or diminish the facts you've witnessed. And, even if the GC is already clued in on this sub, you still should stand up for yourself here and establish what exactly is happening and that this isn't ok on this job site. Presumably your GC would agree, but the frank conversation will make it plain to the GC that his business is compromised by his sub's performance without any threats made.

Annoys me that I want to pig out on food post colonoscopy. Trying to pace myself.
I don't know man, I would definitely say turkey farm is worse than pig farm... There used to be a massive turkey operation near Maple Canyon (the climbing area), the stench was legendary, detectable all the way up every deep and twisted branch of all the side canyons, up and down the valley for miles, and often a valley or 2 over. The place has been shut down for years now and the smell still lingers. Wouldn't be surprised if the site gets classified as a superfund at some point.
I was going to buy some beef from Reminisce Angus Beef in Dillon, MT. Went to their FB page and found a bunch of reposted political drivel. Pretty annoying when businesses do that so I decided to pass.
Oh man give Dillon appliance a google.

Yeah the Jan. 6 guy. I heard about him. I don't get it. If you don't have enough brains to separate your politics from your small business then too bad. Think of how many people have looked at Reminisce Angus Beef FB page and said ahhhh no. Probably half. Just pure stupidity. Sad thing is they appear to have a really good product. Maybe I'm being petty but I'd find it annoying regardless of what side of the spectrum they fall on. Haven't we all had enough of that BS to last us a lifetime?
Snake Farm…sounds pretty nasty.
Pretty much is.
First time I heard it I thought it was a State Farm commercial.
Now that I think about it, ‘State Farm’ sounds like a prison work camp.
It just sounds nasty….Quote:

My own frugal-ness annoys me. Spending hours or days searching for the best deal, many times culminating in missing the original deal due to procrastination. Just pull the trigger!
ditto...
Like driving around a parking lot looking for the closest parking space.....
Seriously How hard is it to just shut up about politics in your business life? I saw a post on the comments in the Seattle Times talking about a new bar that had "Free Palestine!" painted in large letters behind the bar. Is it really worth alienating a decent part of your customer base just to voice your political views?
It's dumping snow and I'm trying to go skin a preseason lap in some fresh. But a dipshit with summer tires got loose and now I'm waiting for the tow truck and paramedics to get the road re-opened.

Neighbor built a multi million dollar house next to us about a year ago. In that year, they've spent maybe 10 days at the house. They don't rent it out or anything; it just sits vacant. Power is currently out everywhere in town due to a wet snow storm. But the unoccupied neighbor's house has a generator running and is lit up. It's a fairly ridiculous waste of pretty much everything.
I'm also annoyed because I tried to mix myself a cocktail in the dark and I fucked up the ratios.
