My go-to for leg injuries or exhaustion is to get my butt within 6-8" of the wall and place my legs straight up the wall. Maximum elevation. Many times, I can feel the blood thumping and moving down to my core. 10 minutes minimum.
We get recycling pickup once a week and garbage twice a week, the trucks are single-operator and just lifts the can up and dumps it but it has to be facing the right way or it gets bypassed. We don't have a dump to take trash or recycling to so if the garbage doesn't get picked up you're stuck with it. Two other houses further down the street had it happen too so my guess is it's one of the assholes I've asked not to let their dog piss and shit on in our yard walking their dog at night because it's turned before the school kids head for the bus in the morning. This morning makes three weeks in a row that some asshole turned them around and the truck leaves them so both cans are absolutely stuffed. It looks like rather than working this morning I'm driving around with a van full of garbage looking for a place to dump it :cussing:

Like how during the history of all previous owners, NOBODY bothered to remove light switch/outlet plates? Literally every single house I've owned, I've had to deal with that. Gotta carefully cut the paint (and/or caulk for some reason?) and peel them off. Then like the rings of a tree, you can see all the many layers of different color paint. One of the first things I do to my homes is swap out all the grody old light yellowed switches and electrical outlets, along with all the covers. This always takes so much longer than it should due to this odd phenomenon. Especially when you have to sand down the old lines or repair chunks of drywall that were missing and shoddily patched previously. I'd blame DIY'ers but evidently some of the more budget oriented "pros" do this too when doing quick and cheap spray jobs. Drives me up a wall.Quote:
