Right? That been said, I wish I still had some incandescent bulbs for the dimmable recessed lighting in the kitchen. The fixtures are too old to handle LEDs very well. The cheap was is to put a non-dimmer switch on them. I don't feel like ripping open the fancy Sheetrock work the previous owners did in order for me to fix it right.Quote:

It's definitely not the fixture. It's the lamps or the lamp/dimmer combo. Buy good lamps that warm (lower Kelvin temp) and good Lutron LED dimmers. Any fixture that has power will work. You can also buy a complete retro led trim with light built in. The shitty thing with those is when the led dies you have to throw the whole trim piece out. Hah. Just spent a dry frozen week at Altabird. Drove to Truckee from RNO at 1 am in a fucking slush storm. At least there was minimal traffic except for the 3 identical semis that seemed to be having a contest to see who could spin out first while their spray blinded any car unfortunate enough to be driving a sane speed next to them as they passed.Quote:

Poison oak annoys me. Didn't touch any that I know of recently but ended up with a big patch of rash on one arm. There must have been some PO oil on the cuff on an old pair of gloves I wore a few days ago doing trail work.
