My money is on naked pagan rituals around the solstice bonfire.

Trying to sell a car for under $5k is firmly in the silly zone of the market. Flakes abound.
Also annoying that a year ago it’d have gone for at least 50% more in the first weekend. Going on a month now and I keep lowering the price until I’ve hit the bottom of book, which is below the first few lowball offers I got. If it doesn’t go this weekend (have three people who will probably flake on me this weekend) I’m going to double the price and take the first lowball.
People. People annoy me.
Just sold. Some guy and his son who knew what they were doing and wanted to fix it up as a winter project. Nice to feel good about the whole thing. Better than the kid who didn’t know how to drive a stick and the single mom who wouldn’t have known what to do if it broke down in a month…. Which I don’t think it would have but…. Still glad both of those flaked.
Nice guys who knew they were getting a good but fair deal and knew exactly what it was and what it wasn’t.
Seems I just needed to bitch about it.
I have some sort of nasty cold (not COVID), and I have mucusy shit leaking out of my eyes. WTF. I’ve never had that happen before.
The shit that has been going around lately is some nasty crap/different than anything I’ve ever had…..and won’t go away….since October I’ve had stuff coming out of my sinuses/nose that is just wrong…..I’ve said in other threads I need to buy stock in tissues with the amount I’ve used the last 3 months….
Finally Teledoc gave me a 10 day prescription to try to kill whatever the hell is going on. (Doxycycline)
Yuck. That sounds terrible. I hope it’s not three months long for me
I’ve got that in common with fred, my O2 is fuct. It is annoying.

It truly sucks to be on oxygen or any other life sustaining medical equipment, but at least if you play it right you might be able to get a free electric generator out of it. My next door neighbor waited too long to have his narrow aortic valve fixed--when they tried to heart cath him he coded and never woke up. His wife kept him on a ventilator in a persistent vegatative state for 2 years before he finally died. I think she did it for the electric generator. Then she wound up on oxygen but she refused to move down to the lowlands. She had yards and yards of oxygen tubing--I wonder if any o2 made it to her lungs from the o2 generator.
Got my shopping done early but forgot wrapping paper. Headed down to the trusty target and someone sneezed right in front of me .0002 seconds after walking in the door. So that's like 4 things that annoy me right there.
Niners-Ravens was supposed to be on ESPN, instead it was on NBC, and Directv Stream is currently in a war with the local NBC and not carrying it. Or maybe I was lucky not to watch it as it turned out.
As it turned out, indeed.
Hard drive in my laptop crashed a while back, so I got it replaced after recovering data and had to start over.
Now I'm getting a popup saying "Password will expire in 4 days". I've never had to reset passwords on any personal laptop before. I hate having to change passwords. Annoying.
Related annoyance, when online "help" functions are of no help because they never seem to have answers for the basic things you need help with. Like disabling password expiration. No combo of key words in Microsoft help will bring up any search results resembling the words I searched for.
So you turn to google, search the same words and Windows 11 Home. Follow the steps in the most relevant looking search results, but most don't even list the same menu items that I see when I access System settings. One that I am able to follow through to my Microsoft account supposedly requires a password reset to disable password expiration, but the box to require password change every 72 days is already unchecked. So, password is reset anyways. Guess I have 72 days til I'll have to deal with this again?
