by law - no private beaches in NJ (w/stips)... parking$$$ beach-tag$. MDay-LDay... beach wagons walked from blocks around. Better chance of parking near ur eatery in manhattan.
except LBI... majority of smaller community beach side streets originally staked with no available public parking makes them feel private and the inhabitants treat them so. Crowds gather (on beaches) within 5/6 blocks of public parking which are positioned as far from the beach as possible across a highway with very few traffic lights. Bonafide Clusterfuq
dad bought our first beach side lot for 12k. 1700$ to auger in full utilities, and built a 1500' house on stilts for 47k (66')... we watched every nail go in. Sold 16yrs ago for 1.8m - same house - maxed out/unrecognisable.
was a year rounder for my tweens+1... 50 frogs complete with rock garden habitat in the bathtub while the rents were out to dinner. My ears are still ringing. Nothing but sailing, board games, kites, paperback books, and cards... oh, and the beach. 38 kids from k-12. Rabbit ear TV - 3 channels - soaps and news
At the time it felt like I lived on gilligan's island
thanked an almighty for the clapped out winnebago and k-town
9-6 a no-no... athletic dogs swimming/having a catch in real break... verie kool

Good point it would look shitty as an exterior repair.
I neglected to mention that the Gorilla glue/baking soda fix I used was on the plastic structure of the mirror and not the shell that it is visible to any and all. From what I saw in the picture the mirror in question was broken the same way.
Oops just noticed the AD wrote what I jut did a few posts ago.
I've always been of the opinion that specialized working spots that aren't handicap are store policy / suggestion, not legal obligations.
I'll honor the ones for vets and expecting mothers/mothers with infants.. but the rest? The ones for curbside delivery, etc.. fuck em.
Not illegal to park there. I'm not obligated to follow store policy and I've never heard of anyone being towed or even ticketed in one.

I used to enjoy stepping on them barefoot in the dark, that was always fun.
Agreed. Also, Resident only parking on city streets sux, at least in places that have driveways and garages, like Sacramento. And most of those spots sit empty all day when shoppers and workers could use them. I get it in places like Boston.
Then it switched to beer bottle caps.
I prefer dog poop/cat hairballs myself.
Less pain but more funny dancing.
Thought my foot skimmed a toy on my way to take a piss last night. On the return trip, i realized I had narrowly avoided a fresh dog poop. Nothing worse than that warm squish between the toes
You obviously don't know dogs. It's part of the territory.
So today I find that Google Photo's wants $1.99/mo if I want to crop or edit my photos. I will not be squeezed like a lemon by The Man.
For the second night in a row, the 9 mo old puppy shit in the house. This time a huge blow out from getting into and eating something she shouldn’t have and I stepped right in it on the way to take a piss at 4am. Fuck. Of course I immediately hopped onto the other leg to keep from smearing but that leg has a fucked up knee which promptly buckled. At least I didn’t fall in the shit. Still had to hobble w one bad leg and shit on the other to the bathroom to clean it off (and piss!) and then spend the next 20 minutes cleaning up dog shit. Super fucking annoyed by dog shit and a knee that prob needs surgery after all 🤬
Holy Fuck. Tell me you're 1000 years old without telling me you're 1000 years old.
FWIW, Photopea is a pretty rad browser based tamed down version of Photoshop.
Depending on what you need, Pixlr is good too.
My mom on Facebook today
I have recently learned that the annual Seattle Seafair Torchlight parade this year will be at 3 pm because it’s too dangerous to go to Seattle after dark. This was an annual event for our family and enjoyed by so many.
Seattle … do better.
My response to her on Facebook after spending 20 seconds googling “when does the Seattle Seafair Torchlight Parade start”.
Mom, That’s not at all what is actually happening.
“The current parade route begins at Seattle Center and follows 4th Avenue through Downtown, the procession ends at the north parking lot of CenturyLink Field. Seafair Torchlight Parade starts at 7:30 pm and ends at about 10 pm. Parade viewing is free to the public with an option of reserved seating for $25–$50. Impatient and curious viewers can head to Seattle Center from 12 pm to 6 pm for the parade preview. Here they can see the marching bands, floats, and equestrian units going through the final parade preparations.”
I’m sure she “heard” this was the case from one of her ultra conservative friends, who also like my mom sits at home reading absolute nonsense day after day never going out to visit with real people to do real things. That shit annoys me.
