Never bothered to hook up the ice maker in our most recent fridge. ........ not annoyed.

Now that you put it that way, once every ten years to always have ice is completely worth it!
I’m less annoyed now.
I would be WAAY more annoyed to have to deal with ice trays every day or two.

I'm always banging stuff into the non-functional ice maker in my frdige. Annoyed. (Manual says this one can't be removed.)
I got my wife no spill ice trays that you can put in the freezer any old which way and they don't spill. She likes those almost as much as she likes the Roomba I got her. OTOH if I get her chocolate she complains she's on a diet and I long ago learned that any jewelry I am likely to buy her would be way below her standards. And flowers--her garden looks like a flower shop so why buy them.

Used bike prices. People want 75% of retail for a 5 year old used and beat up bike. And they seem to be selling for that. Nevermind that you can find new for pretty much the same price.

Maybe this has been going on for longer, but I've only noticed it in maybe the last decade: people in business meetings saying "peace," as in "okay, I'm not going to argue. Point taken. Let's move on."

I would take that to mean meeting adjourned and gtfo.

Why do people think it's ok to walk their dogs and let them do their thing on your front lawn? Again, I just watched a woman with a stroller let her dog piss and shit as it was walking, then it started digging and threw big chunks (of roadside weeds) into the street as it sauntered away all happy with itself. I told her it was kinda rude and handed her a bag a few days ago and she told me to fuck off and walked away. Now if I even look at her she makes a sound and the dog turns towards me like it's gonna attack.

You could always plant burdock or something equally obnoxious in the ditch.

I think anything in a front lawn within a leash length of the sidewalk is fair game for peeing and shitting. Nothing you can really do as a dog owner about where they want to go. That being said, not picking it up is some real bullshit and should be punished by rubbing the owner's nose in it.
