Rainy day failures in the garage. Had two easy things to accomplish. Swap winter for summer tires on my car, and fix the lawnmower by simply replacing a throttle cable.
First summer tire I pick up is flat, must have a leak. Tire shop is closed. Got 3 / 4 on, still need to deal with the flat tomorrow.
Ok, onto the lawnmower. Take cover piece off, remove old cable, install new cable - wrong size, even though part number is a match. Brake the plastic clip on the new cable that attaches it to the arm so probably can't even return it. Nice. Now I need to get a new cable knowing the 'right' part number is wrong. That'll be fun.
Guess I'll retire inside on this miserable day for some baseball. Oh, rain delay. Awesome lol.
I don’t think you get the gist of Chup’s question

Wouldn’t the reference be under his head? You know, since it’s upside down…
Flipping through the TV guide and ESPN2 has XGames Japan 2023 on.
The description reads "Breathtaking action from the X Games with action from events like snowboarding and extreme skiing".
Extreme skiing? I actually got excited for a second before realizing it's just the regular park and pipe events. Now I'm annoyed.
Moths annoy me. Camping in the desert seems a few hitched a lift on my truck and got into my garage. They're annoying enough out camping. I've now killed a bunch in the house. Got home tonight and there were 5 in the living room. Killed them all, then heard some more flapping as I was cooking dinner. Found two more. Then two more a little while after that. WTF?

Mothra (Japanese: モスラ, Hepburn: Mosura) is a fictional monster, or kaiju, that first appeared in the 1961 film Mothra, produced and distributed by Toho Studios. Mothra has appeared in several Toho tokusatsu films, most often as a recurring character in the Godzilla franchise. She is typically portrayed as a colossal sentient larva (caterpillar) or imago, accompanied by two miniature fairies speaking on her behalf. Unlike other Toho monsters, Mothra is a largely heroic character, having been variously portrayed as a protector of her own island culture,[2] the Earth[3] and Japan.[4] Mothra's design is influenced by silk worms, their imagos, and those of giant silk moths in the family Saturniidae.
First time ever I went car camping at a state park in a tent this last weekend.
At 6:30 I get awaken by a guy on a loudspeaker giving instructions for how to boat on the lake. WTF?
Then, at exactly 6:38, a recording of a woman singing the Star-Spangled Banner blasts loudly.
So, technically in Idaho, right??
Not technically, but might as well be
So on the eve of my recent bumper incident, the same car gets a rock chip in the windshield from a gravel hauling semi in the opposing lanes (so no avoiding it). Poor car can't catch a break! WTF?! What's next, a train derailment taking it out from tracks a mile away? Meteor? Errant Russian missile? Alien invasion? I give up. It's a nice car but maybe it was destined to be a beater.
