Exactly. My puker cat will walk across 15 feet of (hard) brick floors to puke on a carpet.

My mom asked how the weather was. It's -5 Fahrenheit with a brutal east wind dropping to -20 overnight. She replies that it's similar where they live. I look it up and it's 30 Fahrenheit with no wind. That's not the fucking same at all.

I'm on a hut trip that starts Monday, with a group I am not familiar with (that's not annoying). But it's Thursday and I have not received even a single organizing email, so don't know anything like meals, whether they accommodate dietary restrictions or you're on your own if you don't eat what they make, or even whether there is anyone to carpool with. Because "people bail and join so the group is fluid until the last few days", their MO is to start organizing with just days to spare. That's annoying and anxiety inducing.

I have a bigger concern. Who's policing this site while you're on this hut trip? Who do we report abhorrent behavior to?

I have no idea whether he was or not, but I can say that he definitely is not banned right now. :shrug: His last post was 2017, which was way after that, wasn't it?
