Man, this has been my life trying to sell a pair of skis.
I like it... if it were that easy.

I feel like the drivers from one state/province north are universally considered terrible.
CA thinks OR plates mean bad drivers > this example of "no tax tourists" parking > BC plates anywhere in northwest WA are mercilessly mocked...
I wonder if people in Skagway say "watch out, Yukon plates!"
Shopping at Alderwood is annoying
I guess you’re in Oregon, all strip malls look alike

I've spent some time in Whitehorse, and can confirm. Proximity to an electrical outlet is premium parking.
Ha. No doubt. On a whole I think Washington drivers are better than Oregon (due to the majority of them driving in a real city), but the Washington plates around PDX are all clueless. We have plenty of clueless Oregon drivers around. No need to add more!
Note: as someone who has recently driven across the US twice, I can scientifically say that Oregon and Idaho drivers are the worst in the country
The sheer lack of giving a damn is strong with that one. What the hell? That driver drunk AF or something? Hopefully the door ding gnomes come and pay them a strong visit...

Haha. Yup. I can attest to the Idaho drivers being SUCH a nuisance. Particularly on Hwy 191 going toward Jellystone. I'm normally pretty chill, but those guys could just about bring the road rage out in me.
What about in New England? Isn't there a state or two there that people can't stand the drivers? Something to do with ultra-slow speed limits they're used to, so then they go over the state line and still keep poking along like they're back home out on a Sunday drive or something.
Hahaha. Nailed it. SO true on a canyon road. It can be pretty scary attempting to pass them. They also LOVE going like 20-30 mph (in a 60) on the no-passing stretches, swerving all over the road, and then GUN IT immediately on the straights. And God forbid they ever utilize one of the many turnouts along the way. Then they give you the deer in the headlights look as you pass them. Completely bewildered that ANYBODY might want to get around them.
Yes, Oregon drivers tend to be horrible. Massholes are also terrible drivers. My company HQ is in Boston and can attest that they are god awful...but it's fine because they all drive like shit there. Oregon drivers are slow and oblivious as someone else pointed out. However, if you introduce a Masshole to Oregon and god forbid it snows in a place like Portland you end up with said Masshole stacking their car in short order. Little different scenario when no, or very little, road salt is utilized.
Here in VT it hard to pick one state since NY, CT, and MA are all frequent visitors. Add in those north of the border and pretty much all our visitors are horrible drivers. NH and Maine are usually ok unless they are from the Boston commuting area, or they are driving an Audi.
If you are going to bag on OR drivers you need to check if they have one of those PNW Love, OR heart or similar sticker on their car because that’s the unofficial badge of someone who moved to OR.
I won't pull up on the wrong side, I'm tired of the skid marks along the roof edge. I'd leave before doing it again. I spent way too much time scrubbing black rubber streaks off the wife's Volvo and my trucks/minivan until I figured out how they happened. On hot summer days when the hose is dragged along the roof it leaves skid marks.
Everything is my fault, why should this be any different.
Dude, Ive figured out exactly where to park for each of our vehicles so the hose goes around the back and doesn't touch. No black marks on the roof or trunk. Sometimes I have to convince the person ahead of me to pull up, or just deal with me on their bumper.
Hey! I resemble that remark :D
Where else are you going to find left-lane campers, driving below the speed limit - on purpose - as if it's their job, or stopping at the end of an onramp? Only in Oregon do we enjoy such terrifyingly oblivious driving.
It's not a trip through Oregon unless you're passing, with prejudice, in the right lane.
And let's not forget the new favorites; "Mountains, please" or "Gorge, please". Those are my favorite! <vomit>
Boston driving is about half a step short of an Austrian lift line full of ski racers. Once you accept that it's a combat sport and play the game, it's not really much worse than any other high traffic situation, imo. I'll admit that I don't do it that often, though.
