My wife is flying to London today to see friends. When she checked in yesterday she found that BA had canceled her return flight without contacting her. No way to book a new flight online without paying for it again. BA's recording says they're too busy to take any more phone calls--multiple calls over hours. After an hour on hold got through to Wells Fargo rewards travel agency who said the airline had to fix it. This morning after an hour and a half on hold my wife was able to get through to BA and make a new return flight--we think. BA canceled 8000 flights a few days ago and the unions are threatening a strike, so if I don't see my wife this year I probably will next year.
Story on the TV this morning about 3 hour security lines and more flight delays and cancellations. Think I'll stay home a while longer.
A couple of my friends are on vacation in Portugal. They've now been there for three days and the airline lost all of their luggage and none of them has gotten it yet!
I actually enjoyed flying over the last couple years when crowds were greatly reduced. Now that things are packed again it seems much less appealing for sure.
That the camp my daughter was registered for next week was just cancelled because of low registration, so now I have less than a week to find an alternative so I can, you know, work.
Send her to the rainbow gathering. We're all family! Free vegetarian meals too! She can put it on her college apps.Quote:

Doc said it's probably a spider bite, but thankfully most likely not a brown recluse based on lack of other symptoms. He put me on 10 days of doxycycline. It popped in my sleep so I missed it.
Pretty sure it’s the monkeypox ;)
