the first time i got an MRI, it thought it would be a good idea to get really high before it to chill me out. this backfired and i do not advise doing so.

I found it pretty easy to deal with. Reminded me of going to a doom/drone metal show.
Maybe try getting into something like merzbow tomorrow, then see if you hear any similarities.
I was more worried about the metal they inject into you and the note that said, you can have a strong reaction but you won't know until it's in you.
I hate mris for the claustrophobia
I ask for an anxiety med now & have them cover my eyes with a washcloth or similar before going in the tube
One of my dogs found poison ivy and I love petting my dogs. :frown:
Food poisoning in the middle of a vacation annoys me.
I hope it's a 24-hour thing and I can enjoy the rest of the trip. Today sucked.
I went to Boston to visit my son, who had bought tickets to Wings- Bruins last game of the season as a Xmas present to me. I got the worse GI's I've ever had and he had to give the tickets away.
Huh, interesting to read about the other MRI experiences here. I just had one too. Yeah it was loud. They had the IV in my arm to add the contrast and that made me feel some anxiety. I was in for an unknown issue that caused me to lose my hearing in one ear, so it's kind of ominous bring in that tube wondering if it's the first of many more.
I'm fine, unknown issue is still unknown.
MRIs are annoying.

Have we touched on kids cell phones yet? I've always heard its the last expense parents drop once they're all grown up and on their own. This annoys me, but what really annoys me is when they don't pick up when I call, grounds for early dismissal from my support....
Just put it in dictation mode and make it a text to yer kid.
Meanwhile the kid is in newschoolerz bitching about parents who fucking try phoning while he’s in the middle of something important.
Going to be tough to get your 21 nuts this month. Vibes for your prostate bro.
Never had an MRI, but I'm sure the psychological component of knowing they're screening for really bad shit doesn't help one bit. I wonder if it would be a less harrowing experience if you knew the outcome would be good.
We kept our kids on our plan into their mid 30's but a couple of years ago we started charging them their share. It was cheaper for us than dropping them and cheaper for them than a new plan. One kid just dropped out--I think he and his wife are on his in-laws plan now. The other kid is still on ours and his wife is on her mom's.
Apron strings are the hardest strings to cut….
Goatheads
If they'd called the coronavirus the goathead virus everyone would be vaccinated and we'd be living sweet.
someone pulling the fucking fire alarm at 3 in the morning and having to go stand outside for an hour barefoot and in my boxers annoys me.
