Thanks guys for all the smoke / CO detector talk, you totally jinxed me.
Changed my furnace filter today and almost immediately after my CO detector started chirping. Huh, put fresh batteries in just a month ago but lets try a new pair. Nope.
5pm during a cold snap I'm googling 24hr emergency HVAC shops but then thought why not get a new CO detecter to verify?
Yeah new one is showing 0ppm. Quite a relief but yeah that was annoying.

When you think where you are is fukt up and the worst ever think of how bad it is at that moment but like that for 40 miles and it's worse because there are as many vehicles in those miles as there are in your whole state. Idk, it seems like the overall driving experience is worse in places where people from all over the country tend to move to.
The one positive thing I can say about NJ driving is that it’s pretty homogenous. Most people seem to know how it works and what to expect, and because of that it just feels pretty easy to me. Contrast that to a place like Phoenix, where people seem to flock from the east coast, midwest, LA, etc and I thought it was just a constant shit show with people pulling incredible stupid shit, incessant road rage, whathaveyounot.

Yeah, how are they ranking "worst" drivers? I'm guessing fatalities per capita based on MT having a low score, but would think FL would too?
My experience is MT are the best haul ass or move over on the highway or freeway. WA/OR are painfully slow and camp in left lane, never use pull outs. UT outside SLC everyone has cruise set to 10 over and pretty good about moving over. AZ about the same, but less good about moving over(x2 when lifted truck). ID just seems random. And CA is a mix of everything, but way to many fast lane campers.
Not including semi drivers in above, good percentage of those universally suck.
