Blister update. No pictures.
These fucking things have continued to grow and developed an extremity painful red ring around the edges.
Called the doc today and she said I need to pop them.
Finally!!
Still painful but it's nice not having fkn tennis balls attached to my palm.
I have a post dead skin trimming pic, but its really gruesome. I thought the blisters were interesting and not overly gross. This is different and I don't really want to put it in here where people may not be expecting it.
I have a strong stomach, and if this wasn't me I wouldn't want to look at it...
send it
ok. I'll just start a new thread with a disclaimer
Do it. I know I’ve seen worse here
Was it mostly dry or liquid when you punctured?
We are also enjoying the carnage but also sending you healing vibes bc burns hurt so fing bad
If Danno isn't seen in the other thread then I'll make sure to cross post them back here ;)
I hate you people, lol.
um wut
When you find out your immediate supervisor and technical analyst are "cool", with mixed results,...
A $6,000 MRI. Billed by four different entities, and all conveniently set up to not hit the deductible on our “good” insurance.
Medical billing seems to be run by the mafia now.
I'm only 10% joking. It's like it's deliberately designed to be as skanky and exploitative as possible.
And then they always claim some kind of crazy defense. "We adhere to the law in all our billing practices."
Yeah? Yelling the N-word at black people as they walk down the street is "following the law" too (since being a racist prick isn't against the law), but it's despicable. How is that any defense?
Or, this - I'm not sure if it's better or worse.
"It was covered by their insurance."
WTF?!
“Covered” aka they don’t charge you the extra 20% on top of the insured rate for the privilege of being too poor to have health insurance.
There are private imagining clinics in my 'hood that do MRIs for $400-500 w/o a physician referral (https://www.taylormedmri.com/services-1). Not saying that was an option for you, just highlighting how egregious charging $6,000 for one is. That's goddam criminal.
