I saw some real driving prowess today. First a minivan cut maybe a foot in front of my car in order to take an exit off of I-5. Then about a mile down the road on a surface street this same person used the left turn lane to go straight through a red light that others had stopped for. I had been keeping an eye on the vehicle because I just knew they'd do something else stupid within a matter of minutes.
Portland General Electric keeps emailing me and asking me to opt into their peak time events so they can adjust my thermostat down to help manage demand for electricity. But we have an NG furnace as our auxiliary heat source and haven't run the heat pump for weeks.

AD--obviously the guy ran the red light because he thought you were chasing him.
With those people, I just assume they are fucked up on drugs, running from a crime, or have a legit emergency to attend to. In all those cases, its best to just keep your distance and hope they dont hurt anyone driving like that...they likely have a lot less to lose than everyone else on the road. I don't even get mad or annoyed, i just SMH and try to give them a wide berth.Quote:

The weird thing was they weren't otherwise driving excessively fast or recklessly. It just seemed like every couple minutes they needed to do something crazy on principle.Quote:

Trying to potty train Bjorn is a PITA. During the day I take him out every 2 hours and every 3 at night. The little fucker goes out with me in the day, we hang out for 15+ minutes, doesn't pee so we go in for him immediately pee on the Travertine. WTF? Maybe longer periods (3 hours like at night)?

My company is in the process of upgrading all SharePoint sites to M365. Prior to the upgrade if you didn't have access to a particular site it would throw up a page saying you don't have access and gave the option to contact the site admin to request access. After the upgrade I got a page saying I don't have access and to contact the site admin with no option to send them a request. How the hell am I supposed to you who the site admin is if I don't have access? Nice Catch-22, Microsoft!</p>
Haven’t had the missionaries come by in forever. Poor souls showed up today. After our conversation I’m sure I’m going back on the do not knock list.
But I found something odd. Asked them flat out why they don’t respect someone’s no soliciting sign on the door. They told me they are not soliciting, they are canvassing.

My fridge doesn’t fit a gallon of milk…. Door shelves are too skinny, main shelves are “exactly” that height so it doesn’t really work.
Never noticed this issue… but I have a toddler and a newborn….

It's annoying that I think of this thread several times a day and build a great post in my mind and I tell myself that this time I will remember to post it. Then I forget what it was. There aint shit left up there and that is fuking annoying.

I am not the only guy that gets to deal with this? And always on the weekend. I look in the side yard and see a mess (I never screw the clean out cap on tight).
Go outside, clean the mess up, get out my Main Line Cleaner and go at it. My neighbors damn Magnolia tree roots plug me up about every 4-5 months.
Rinse all the ick down the Main Line, clean up the machine and pat myself on the back for not giving a plumber $500 on a Sunday.

Not once have any of my animals had an emergency during normal business hours.
