Call in with a generic question to any company you have a financial account with (bank, cc, mortgage, government, etc). They know who you are from the phone number you called from, and you can often retrieve account details like balances and transactions without entering further info. Talk to an agent though with a question that has nothing to do with any confidential information and they won't answer it until they go through 5-10 questions to verify your identity. Today the lady had to put me on hold "to document the call". Then of course, is the survey they want you to take afterwards. Something that could have been answered in about 20sec stretched into almost 10 minutes. No wonder its so hard to get through to some of these places by phone. Since I declined the phone survey I've already gotten the "how did we do" email survey. Definitely going to fill that one out with my thoughts on all this.
Fuck
microfiber
towels.
Slamming the microwave door. Never quite understood why so many think a massive amount of force is required to close it.
"GOOD DAY TO YOU SIR!!!!!"
...said the Pomeranian.
Sucrets.
You used to get 24 in those cool little foil wrappers.
Now you get 18 in blister packs.
Lame.
just room for 3 blister packs, 3x2
Attachment 406371
what if Altoids pulled this crap ...
Yeah, but after they sat in your car for a year the foil fused to the Sucret. Impossible to remove!

i would classify that as a launch problem, not a design problem.
LG refrigerators
And their shitty home delivery. After the 3rd reschedule I cancelled and am rolling the dice on a Samsung.

Speaking of refrigerators…
Any French Door refrigerator. Prior owners installed a Samsung French Door. What good is it if you have to open both doors to get anything out of any of the drawers?!?!
Don’t get me started on the “flap” that the two doors seal against. Damn thing flips to the closed position and then slams against the other closed door.
Give me a single door refrigerator that’s “leveled” just right so that door gently closes on its own.
The only place I could see a practical use for a French Door refrigerator would be if there is not enough clearance for a single door refrigerator. But even then, a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer has less clearance too.
Hahaha. For real. As an owner of a higher grade Samsung (previous home owner put it in to sell house) I am not impressed. Upper ice makers blow on them. I ended up disabling it cuz it just kept turning into one solid chunk of freezer burned nasty ice. Most common issue with them. Also sounds like it's gonna rip itself apart every morning when it does it's routine defrost mode. I can fix that but it takes taking off the back panel inside the fridge and defrosting everything manually. PITA job I just haven't gotten to. Need to though.
IMO, since nice Samsungs are SO ridiculously priced considering their shit quality, I'd rather be cross shopping an entry level counter depth built-in from the higher end brands. I can get a nice Miele for about the current price of my Samsung.

Hey anything is better than whirlpool/amana!
After the fourth repair on my new fridge, the appliance guy smirks and says 'welcome to the whirlpool family'
Similar luck on my oven (3x).
What the fuck is up with French Canadians?
I do a fair amount of international D2C business. I am not exaggerating that over 50% of purchases to the French province have some sort of issue or complaint.
Its honestly to the point where any profit is nullified with waisted time.
Except I always open the wrong door.
Sriracha? On the right door is where I put it last. Nope, not there.
Apples? They're in the drawer on the left side, right? Wrong.
Human head in a jar? Someone pushed it to the back again, and now I need both doors open to search.
Super annoying.
Hey, if nothing else, I’ll have some new material to post.
