Ski-doo 800/151 Highmark X package with a number of mods.
Racks are by x-rack ( http://www.x-rack.com/ ), out of Utah.
The more I am learning, the more I am inclined to go with and recommend the Arctic Cat M's. Riding stance and fit and finish is not quite as nice as the SkiDoo's, but the engine just seem to be WAAAAY more reliable. Of course everyone has stories of any sled being a total nightmare as much as people have stories of running anything for thousands of miles without incident.
Seems to me though, that AC continues to dial in their design while SkiDoo changes constantly to stay at the forefront. That's cool, but their R&D department seems to consist of their customers.
That said, here's my wicked sick Peak Slayer 800 (did anyone else read that? Hilarious):

And my Peak Slayer 1000 in action last season:

What the others have said, with an added comment.
If you go onto snowest.com and check out the ski-doo forum, is seems to be accepted by most that the 2006 Rev models had the least amount of issues.
Some earlier models (04/05) had issues with rings, and the 07 model came stock with clutching issues...
Our antiques patiently awaiting snow.

I've had a couple 03 RMK 800's and they're pretty bomb-proof and cheap to fix. Although the newer rev platforms are a billion times easier to ride.
this sweet video came from BLURREDELEVENS skiing blog! you and your bros are killing it!!
The clutch manufacturer switched the specs on brp without telling them, they warrantied all clutches, so it's no longer a problem.... the new REVXP's have bigger issues than that. I know 3 people who didn't ride much lasts season because their new rig was in the shop more than they were out riding.
Here's the inspiration for that piece (the 800 for sale w/ shock issue):

Sooo stoked to get out and BRAAAPPP!!
You get that 670 right yet? You are the only person I have heard have bad luck with one of those. Sick King Cat.
Rebuilt top end on it, didn't crack the bottom end. Some metal possibly
slipped into the bottom end, which would get in the bearings eventually and screw it up. Runs wicked strong right now.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it.
Also, that offer for that 98 Powder Special still stands. My buddy lives in Eagle, so you'd have to go there to pick it up.
Let's hope it dumps somewhere around here soon. I'm dying to get out.
That king cat will be a little more your size and style. You kinda looked like a monkey fucking a football on that little 670.;)
Do you know if the Pow Special is a 600EFI? Reverse? Still down. Would love to get reverse.
H-Wood - are you the jaded local? If so, brilliant!
I'll ask him tomorrow.
I'm just a jaded local. The true Jaded Local lives inside each and every one of us, like The Spirit of Christmas
or herpes.
Sick dudes.
