For my $ it would be TAB. Love Phish but TAB seems to be killing it. Plus...smaller venues!

TAB peaked in 2001/2002 in my opinion.
TAB = dad rock.
It’s fun and all, but for my money it’s Phish hands down.
That said, Trey power trio in ‘99 was the shit.

PlayItLeo's got it right, '99 TAB was something else entirely. Jibboo from 5/6/99 will never get boring for me. Can't go wrong with 2002 TAB where Trey channels his inner Fela Kuti, though, either.
Nowadays, well, I've got a thing for Natalie singing 1977 but that's about it for modern TAB.
New Vida Blue album sounds awesome so far (about 4 tracks in). Hope I get to see these guys again someday. It's been 17 years!

Phish is in a league of Its own. TAB is a great party band, and always a good time. ‘99 was legit. The Palace and Flynn are very fond memories :)

Had to share when I saw the shirt. One of my many posters from back in the day. Saw Vida Blue last night at the Capital, great show and a killer version of Sheep.
Pray for snow.

So....will Phish play somewhere on the west coast in 2020?? Skunked in 2019.
Got Trey at The Ryman. Should be really good.
MSG is a party. Whole place literally starts rockin.
Good luck in the lotto boys!
We regret to inform you.....blah, blah, blah.
Between me and my mind available on iTunes today...

Damn, that looks and sounds amazing. As long as Chris Thile and his ego stay the hell away from it, the show will be as amazing as that practice clip is.
and we're live
The show is available until 11pm tonight ^^
The If I Could duet with Trey and Sara was a tear jerker, so well done.
Thanks phishy. [emoji106]
Oysterhead Feb 14/15 Denver
More Oysterhead shows to be announced shortly.....
Tempted to go to Denver. Would be so weird to see a band that I last saw on 11/11/2001.
I saw them in Lowell, it was not good. Maybe with Tizzle being straight now, it could work. But man, it was a serious letdown.
Just watched that If I Could, it’s good, but what’s with Trey’s tone? Sounds like he’s playing a ukulele, the fuck is that?
Only Oysterhead show I saw. Was awesome.

From the videos it looks like he was playing through a Princeton Reverb instead of the massive Komet/Ambikab combination he's been playing lately. Definitely made for a tinnier sound at the low volume he was at, particularly relative to Phish. To my ear, his lead playing in Theme showed the most pronounced effect of this: the massive compression and sustain of the bigger rig just isn't there in the Princeton even when it's being driven to some degree. I think that leads to the tinny/fuzzy/thin sound.
