As I've seen 9 of the last 10 shows played (everything but Bangor, but that's in my ipod), I'll weigh in and agree that there hasn't been anything special so far this summer. In fact I thought there were quite a few sloppy moments at SPAC, and I'm not talking about the lawn in the rain.

Fun show last night. Roamed all over the back lawn, mainly hanging out in the family/hula hoop sections since it was so hot and sweaty in the crowded areas. Shittons of HS kids at the show it seemed - really felt like a dirty old man at times. Great vibe, tho - and the band was definitely on in a funk mode w/ lots of choppy keyboards and chicken pickin' guitar.

I thought it was great seeing some youth in the crowd last night tipp. I strongly prefer that to all jaded thirty something phans complaining that the band was better prehiatus and then rushing home to catch a full nights sleep for their cubicle jobs in the morning.
I thought the band sounded great last night. They were obviously having fun and it showed. Mikes new haircut is a little questionable though.
Anyone need tickets for either atlanta show? I have lawn and Pav seats both nights.
Thought last night was easily the best show since Dick's last year.

^^^ Agreed, first set was sick. Thought the second set was kind of meh, though. Ripcord on twist and #line batting third were bummers. The stream that was going for set one was amazing, great audio and video.
how about this tour so far? so many more complete sets than the past couple of years, and first sets with some juice like last night and the SPAC split etc.
Catching all of Cali tour, can't wait. 2 weeks!
