i fell asleep during half time. highlights from the first set, from the couch. Suskind Hotel, Mike is killing it this summer. there is a wicked hose jam during Suskind! and after some fumbling Stash absolutely got IT at the end. going back to Cactus, Mule fucking ruled. any else see Trey get pegged in the chest with a glowstick during Mule?
Fishman seemed totally dialed in last night. he was so animated. excellent version of Sweet Virginia. it seemed like kind of a late start last night. hoping they roll earlier tonight. woot!

Only got to see Sunday, but damn that was a awesome. Fun times were had by all.
Work-->getting out early-->find a ride to Denver-->mid-afternoon pool side shitshow-->pregaming-->lot scene-->Phish melting my face-->roaming the lot to find lost members of the group-->hotel room dance party-->raiding hotel gift shop for food-->sleep.
Yay! Can't wait to do it again!

They're so hot right now. Impressed with the venue after being entirely skeptical of the camping/lot scene. Summer=over.
Sunday night was the best show I have seen them play since they returned in '09. Awesome run. Great venue, vibe, etc.
right on DR! While I elevate Saturday as the best since 97 .. particularly that Tweezer, Sunday was indeed top tier with Bathtub Gin revealing the band firing on all cylinders. What a run ... at their finest for sure.
awesome run, from the seat of my couch. major rumor floating, about a benefit gig for VT. at the Champlain valley fairgrounds on September 17th! woot.

Ended out the weekend with a first time ever on Sunday, we hooked up the web cast to the TV/Stereo and rocked out the final show... was good for most part, had a few skips as show was buffering but worked out for us. great alternative to seeing it live as I am not sure I could have made another show... hell... I'm still walking around like a zombie.....
It's pretty impressive how well Phish is playing right now. Reminds me of mid-90s. Sunday was straight FIRE. It was nice running into some mags too- Makers Telemark, Rontele and Pinner. Big props to bostonjohn for letting me crash at his place for a couple of nights! Time to recover now....
oh, fuck me! I haven't been to a show since '99, but this I really want to see, keep us posted. It looks like I may have to drive to the location to buy tix in person.Quote:

Dick's was an incredible way to spend a birthday weekend, upgrading to field was worth it in spite of my hesitation at first with the venue.
I forgot about the free mp3 downloads of the shows using the barcode from the tickets. Hold on to those tickets!
Best I've seen them since mid-90s. I regret ever letting them out of my life for so long, stupid life stuff.... I've missed them and am so much happier again. Still reeling from last weekend! Only one crazed wookie experience through the whole show, too. Heh, we're all grown up for the most part. Also cool to see younger generation diggin the tunes, though some weren't even born last time I saw Phish live. Yikes!
