As a late comer in life to the Phish party this record sounds great. They went backwards from stage to studio.
I love this band

I love this band
I’ve seen 60 shows since ‘91, this album sounds so much better than anything from the studio in the 2.0-3.0 era. Really glad they dropped this for us at this point in time. Best studio effort since Farmhouse.
Also, WSP Sux!
Lolz. I hear that a lot from both sides. Fuck that though.
Also, I love this on the insta.

WSP is full on hot garbage
I've enjoyed WSP the couple times I've seen them, have no desire to listen to them at all though.

Jams!
LB Jam
This show was night four of Phish's Baker's Dozen run at Madison Square Garden, consisted of a jam-filled donut theme, and was webcast via Live Phish. Raspberry jam-filled donuts dipped in honey were given out to fans arriving at the venue and songs such as Sample in a Jar and Lawn Boy were jammed out longer than usual. Lawn Boy featured Page on keytar. My Friend My Friend did not contain the "Myfe" ending. Makisupa contained a Piano Man tease from Page and a Jamming quote from Trey. End of Session debuted at this show.
Page is really pulling out the stops with that Tuna sandwich recipe, whooooooo boy!
5 minutes to showtime bump. Smoke em if ya got em
:hunter:
Saving my sammi for set break.
Respect the SOAM.
Not feeling the phish.
Their live shows were great fun back in the day. Seen a half dozen or more.
But watching this live fish broadcast, circa 2017. It’s so much musical masturbation. It’s all light shows, which are great if you are there in person. And high AF.
But a lot of the music is meh.

"Up the rigging take in sail mind the skipper we'll not fail
He'll bring out wine all will be fine just hear the order watch the sail..."
This little number has got me through some rough patches!
This is an early start for good reason.
Why the hell not!

cuz Phish is not good
A ripping Tweezer with a formidable glow stick war does wonders for the soul. Bring it boys!
Insane.
Magnaball was such a magical weekend. The mothership really landed during that Tweezer>Caspian. I want to go back.
I'm actually amazed at how many people (mostly on the phish message boards) who act like Watkins is some sort of paradise. I mean it's ok, but there are like 5,000 nicer places to have a fest. Call me crazy, but they should never attempt another fest in a rainforest (aka the entire eastern half of the USA 90% of the year).
4th set on

I'm still picking my face up off the floor from last night. Damn what a show.
That Tweezer>Caspian is the thing dreams are made of. 5 star shit!
Free Ghosts of the Forest webcast tonight at 8 est https://webcast.livephish.com
And of course dinner and a movie tomorrow.
I still can't understand why, after a row of scorchers, they picked this one.
if you kooks aren't watching Holly Bowling live from her living room (right now) on Thursday nights on Nugs/FB you're missing out

Solid first set so far
Hah
Fish dicks.
I keep seeing this thread title
And my first reaction is “no one” is seeing fish in covid.
Fuck.
Carry on with worshipping Cornell 73

Rumor is that the summer tour cancellation announcement is tomorrow (Friday May 1)
Bummer, maybe schedule a fall tour near home in small venues[within 3 hrs of my house;)].
