LBOMH (little bits of musical history)
by which I mean, I guess, live performances with some relevance to something, or practices that were great and got recorded, I dunno, just...little bits of history that you think are cool.
So , Michael Lang, who was one of the people who came up with Woodstock, cool guy it seems, died yesterday. A good dude from what I can tell. Anyways in the obit it mentioned Joe Cocker's performance at Woodstock and it had been easy 20 years since I watched it, so I dialed it up.
Holy shit. Was there ever a person more possessed by the music? Wow.
