Just found this thread and thought I would throw up a few pictures. It was actually a pretty fun trip down memory lane finding these. Lots of SE Utah, and CO..

Where'd you start your hike?
We began at Ross Damn (WA) TH... take the boat ride to Big Beaver Camp TH.. 10 min and $65 total takes 7 mi off.. then its 14 miles up the Big Beav to Beaver Pass camp (1st grn pin).... Then leave trail and point it straight up Wiley ridge... course our trip was late season.. so much less snow than Google Earth shows

Bumping for 2019. A few of my favorites from last year.
Just off the Noatack River on the south end of the Brooks Range, AK. An old cabin for a rainy camp on the Rogue River, OR. First night on the Magruder Corridor, ID. Alvord Lake, southwest OR. Bruneau Cherry Stem, southwest ID.
looking back over pics from '18, it was a pretty good year for camping

Broken collarbone meant no biking and lots of hiking. I got back into backpacking, something I hadn't done in years. Got a new lightweight tent, broke it in in the backyard

Dude, ^noice!
FKNA!
GO TO SAN JUAN ISLANDS. The island of Friday Harbor is the most beautiful place I've ever experienced. Drive along the southwest coast, stop on the pull offs and see orcas with Vancouver Island off in the horizon. And also stop to pick wild blackberries if in season. It's heaven (rent scooters if you want to make it even more fun).
Take the ferry from Anacortes.
Seriously, San Juan Islands, you can't skip them.
