The third thread is the charm
I sure hope so. This feels like an assault.
2nd, 3rd, 4th whatever, get rid of that shit.
So obnoxious.
When you're in the server closet next to a box fan, no one can hear you scream.
Ooooo .... so we need a Predator to solve this? Firing up the bat/Predator signal immediately.
Stop using the tgrs?
Yep, its annoying af.
Bring back tags and douche the screen crap.
Been away for a few days and I come back to this. Mods it sucks donkey dicks
It kills my music playing in the background when I open the TGRz… browsing this place without music is like watching porn on mute. No bueno.
What popup?
If I have to watch one more knuckledragger butter a knuckle when I'm trying to read about iceman skiing in jeans, I'm going to lose it.
What about 25$ a year for tgr w no ads?
Highly annoying BS. Putting it up by default is one thing, not letting me kill is another, it just pisses people off and how many here want to see that crap anyways?
What if it was a video of knuckle fucking?
That might help riser with his lack of popups
I was impressed that it was getting past uBlock, but I used the eyedropper to make a filter and it looks like it's gone now.
If you aren't using an adblocker, well, do you even notice?
That thing sucks
If TGR is trying to kill the forums, this could just do it for me.
This was getting past AdBlock. If you right click on it and go to the "AdBlock" item and then "Block This Ad" a popup should come up with a slider. If you move it one click to the right it will block the ad. Maybe everyone already knows this but if not here ya go.
Given the traffic the forums generate I don’t think we need to pay. Any mod’s have an answer to this?
Guys- use AdGaurd, not AdBlock. It's been resolved for me thanks to Pinned's post on a different thread in different forum. Easy peasy. Chrome extension for mac. Problem solved.
Edit to add- and supposedly, according to Danno in one of the other posts, the mothership is supposed to get rid of it today. Maybe they already did, but I wouldn't know now.
I was able to hide it using uBlock ad blocker, which is an extension for Chrome. Details here.
EDIT: same as what counterfeitfake did above.
