Crazy thing; I thought it was gout but doc says ankle tendinitis. It flares up randomly. Been trying the RICE approach but am worried about ski season. I wont be putting a boot on if it flares up.
Anyone deal with this and skiing? TIA.

Can be a lingering diagnosis, generally occurs either in the midportion of the tendon or where it inserts into the heel bone.
