Thank you for the stoke!
Is that 2nd picture from Murgtal? Where would I find this nice boulder / what is the name?
you're spoiled but I am stoked - very nice pictures, especially the first two showing the climbing and the setting!
wow, that looks like a lifetime of climbing right there.
what's the name of that flake?
This is m'raut 7c+ /v10.
Small a few hundred meters above the saw mill Sector in the new guide book. Not much else there

We headed to Flagstaff for a weekend wedding, found some rain and some awesome limestone climbing. Just a heads up, climbing in the rain is tough, climbing limestone in the rain is tougher, climbing limestone in the rain when you both forgot chalk is... interesting.
picked up two big boxes of vintage climbing mags. here’s a cover from Mountain, jan 1990Attachment 241681

RIP Charles Cole, inventor of Stealth rubber and founder of 5.10. Very interesting thread over on Supertopo where many of his longtime friends and legendary climbers share stories.
went up north to this really small high quality crag two hours from montreal. old school lines, pretty sure Weissner was here to grade all the moderates two numbers less than anyone else would, heh.
Confronted with the 5.10 finger crack, Trident, I also realized that I suck at crack climbing for the millionth time. We don't have that much good splitter around, so if i can't layback the shit out of a line or find constrictions for ring jams I am a little useless.
Otherwise great weekend. Nobody around. Not bad for bugs. Easy camping. Two minute approach. A river to swim in. Cheap awesome burgers at the casse-croute. Baby led her first sport route. Interesting climbs.
stoke pics forthcoming, here is my nemesis from mtproj:

That looks like an awesome climb ml242. I'm looking forward to heading back east in the fall and climbing some real granite :)
Any climbers in the San Diego area? I was driving around Palomar Mountain and spotted a cool looking face to the south, I looked it up when I got back and it's in the hellhole canyon preserve. Anything out there?
Here's some pictures from my last trip out to JTree for the stoke tax. Wish it wasn't so damn hot!
nice j tree pics.
have you or anyone else been down to cabo to climb?
i can get a cheap flight there or havana in december, looking for a warm and cheap place to get on some rocks before winter really kicks in.
eta: people are hating on cabo climbing online but it looks to have a lot of rock and potential. too much for me to think about tho in a vacation but will add
potrero chico
columbia
ecuador
to the list of possibilities.
