powerflex deck, midtracs, powerflex 5s. versitle, manged "one wheelers" on our cinderblock tombstone, low backside arials (where I was the frontside-backside terminology was reversed, would say frontside air in today's parlance), and 12 360s on it. late 77 early 78 timeframe.
To memory sims taperflex was a watershed, first widely ridden laminate and first soft-kick.
Got a Peralta 1, Warptail 2, and Kicktail4 in the G&S section..

The OG 1st generation Peralta came with sweet hand painted Pink Floyd art on top. I added some vintage stickers and clear gripped over it rather than stripping it off in that build/resto.

^^ skateboard member berries. [emoji3] I wish I had every one of my old ones.
Roller derby 60s model with clay wheels
G&S longboard 70s
Makaha kicktail 70s
Classic T&C gator in 80s
Still got another T&C somewhere back home

60s stuff has waned in value as the folks who rode them die off or are on fixed income.
That T&C is probably pretty rare and desirable. If it's in good shape possibly four figures. Stuff I let go that I wish I had kept.
Santa Cruz Stinger with Gullwings and Street Wheels
Variflex Boulder Boards Singer Freestyle
^^^Stuff I rode in college, gave it away to a random kid when I moved from TX to NC DOH! Both are very rare and high doller items.
Boulder Boards 10" with UFO double conical pyramids (not Saucers). Don't remember what trucks, probably indy 215s
Alva 27" with ACS 650s and red 60mm Kryptonics.
Mill City local shop deck I sold to get the Alva.
what kind of tools? The weird thing about hand tool collecting is, IMO, it can be hard to find “user” shop tools in good shape - like some coopers tools can be hard to find esp in good shape, even though there were thousands of coopers in the us, whereas there’s dozens of “collectible” shitty ideas that survived unmolested.
as you posted this in response to axes a ggf was a logger that logged with one. The hand me down axe he’d used afterwards is nothing collectibly special. Just a decent hardware store axe. Which goes along with the above - most collections are the special and not the everyday.
Land Cruisers. I don't recommend it.
Mrs. ACH has a bitchin nutcracker collection.

Dude, you know what kind of floodgates you open posting that....:fm:
Interesting. I hope that t&c is still where i left it. I already had my nephew-in-law throw out (more likely steal) my 1st guitar amp (80s peavy pacer) with my old ehx effects pedals stuffed in the back of it. Biggest loss was a ehx big muff crying wah pedal from 78/79. Only 150 made now its gone. [emoji26]
These days i seem to have a boss pedal addiction...

^^^Nice board. My kid's the more serious guitar player in the family but only for an easy A in high school. I wish he'd take it beyond and practice more outside of school required stuff.
Got most of the gear we need to jam at home. I'm a drummer.

^wtf ....a pick for a Ramirez classical?? altho, thats probably what carl sandberg used to play one....lol...but really that's blasphemy, a pic Egad!!
on another note, i would def rather have those pedals and or skateboards over the nutcrackers....altho it seems to be quite a comprehensive collection....
Should I glue a pick guard on to it? hahahaha
Seriously though, if I played it correctly the long fingernails would be a work handicap. Typing with long nails would drive me crazy..
I've got a DG8 hanging in the bedroom that gets played more. Dad's guitar sits in the case occasionally getting a humidor refill.
altho i dont endorse, try these (below).....but Sagovia is def turning over in his grave with that pic stuck in those strings....lol...and all the dmv ladies type with those nails...you can do it....
Attachment 306011
more nail than needed for guitar...but this lady can still pull off typing...
Attachment 306013
this could work....adequate....

Those look like they are designed to protect already long nails. You can see long nails on the fingers under them. I did try some of those finger picks years ago when playing uke. Just meh.
Only guitar I never use a pick playing is any BASS. I'm a thumb thumper..
