I welcome the success of the Seahawks' subsidiary. Especially now that they're the 5 seed.

They barely beat the Niners without some key players. And they haven't exactly been beating up on people. + 1 to the Bengals, +6 to the Steelers, + 1 to the Rams, +4 Browns. They are gritty, Wilson is a winner, but they don't scare me. I think the Niners are a better team.
But Jesus H Christ. Could anything be more annoying than having to listen to Booger and a mic'd up Wilson? What a fucking dork. It was like listening to someone trying to do a parody of someone being overly rah rah.
The niners do not have a good record against the seahags. those seattle shitbags sure have their number.

C'mon. There's no way Russell could be that obnoxious in real life. That had to be an act for the TV folks, probably all a big joke. Or maybe he's really like that. I love all the chatter about leadership--like (over)grown men making millions per year need someone yelling stupid slogans in their faces to get them to play hard. But then I've never been on a football team, maybe they do. If so, sad. (Like the videos that have been popping up of Amazon warehouse mgrs pumping up the troops in the morning.)
He’s that way. Bible thumper rah rah kinda dork.
As much as I am not a RW fan, credit where credit is due. He knows how to win. And that is in short supply in the NFL.
The key there is that they won all those games. They weren't necessarily blowing every team out of the water when they won the super bowl. Actually sneaking out wins seems like the MO with Wilson and Carroll. I wouldn't bet against them.
Russell Wilson is so annoying. Dude seems like he has some happy learning disability in every post game interview and just repeats cliche after cliche. But maybe that should be expected when you win as often as he has.
At least he didn't see ghosts.
Eli is back...
It's certainly easier to listen to Brady after a loss than Wilson after a win, but I'd rather he sticks with cliches if it means his celebrations are less rehearsed than those of the WR core. That's getting to be a bit much.
Rumor has it the Bills are leaving any snow that falls on the field this weekend to better see Lamar Jackson.
It appears he was taking his job title a bit literally?
"San Francisco 49ers color commentator Tim Ryan..."
I was listening to that radio show when he said it. I remember thinking it was probably not a good idea to mention an African American's skin tone, but he was purely speaking in a football context regarding being able to see the fake. Tim Ryan is a good analyst. Being a former D lineman, I really think he was trying to describe the football reality of trying to read the option at the mesh point. But I get it. You just can't go there.
For those of you that don't know what we're talking about:
Ryan made the comments early in an interview on the "Murph & Mac" show on KNBR radio in San Francisco on Monday morning when discussing Jackson's success running the ball against the Niners. KNBR is the Niners' radio partner and broadcasts all of the team's games.
"He's really good at that fake, Lamar Jackson, but when you consider his dark skin color with a dark football with a dark uniform, you could not see that thing," Ryan said on air. "I mean you literally could not see when he was in and out of the mesh point."
Hey, if Boise State could play in blue uniforms on a blue field . . .
I can’t think of the guys name but he was a badass for the redskins in the late 80’s
Anyhow he said somthing like “black guys are good running quarterbacks cuz they grew up running from the cops”
