Hemingway. OK book. Pretty interesting.

The title is: "Death in the afternoon".. ;)

I enjoyed the read. Same with Green Hills of Africa, I appreciate the end of chapter asides. You can tell Hemingway was still young.

Love me some Papa Hemingway.

Hills Like White Elephants is probably the best short story ever written.

I agree with your first line, but for my money The Big Two Hearted River 1 & 2 takes the best short story ever prize. A Clean Well Lighted Place is up there.

I finally got fired today.

It's a good thing. It took me a year of every sideways thing I could think of to get it done.

I will sleep very well tonight.

Now i can get into the network, computer, life invasion I have delt with off and on for the past 6 years.
