In the early 60s it was Broadview Elementary (built 1914) and RH Thompson Jr. (built 1962). Originally two separate schools. I went to both. We did have busing - I recall a total of 5 black students in my elementary :rolleyes2 but not any protests or violence one of the bused students was a good friend of mine. We used to do sleep overs at each others house. We had black teachers so it couldn't have been that bad.
